Alpha Lupi has been a mythical theme since before the release of Destiny. The [url=http://alphalupi.bungie.net/images/results/signal_received_full.jpg]Alpha Lupi ARG[/url] hyped up the franchise before Destiny's announcement, and since taking part in it, I revere the theme as the arbiter, the spearhead of the franchise. Currently there are only a few pieces alluding to Alpha Lupi, and interestingly, they all point toward the Twilight Gap. The first, definitive piece is the Hunter's [url=http://www.destinypedia.com/images/7/7e/Destiny-Hunter-ExoticArmor.jpg]Crest of Alpha Lupi[/url]. A [url=http://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZmKotq59JYQ/maxresdefault.jpg]Titan version[/url] also exists, although it doesn't showcase the distinct wolf head as clearly. The next obvious piece is the [url=http://i0.wp.com/planetdestiny.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/gjallarhorn-exotic-comparison.png]Gjallarhorn[/url]. It clearly has the same wolf head and royal trimming of the Alpha Lupi chest piece, indirectly confirming its inclusion in the Alpha Lupi theme. According to the Grimoire, this rocket launcher was "forged from the armor of Guardians who fell at the Twilight Gap." Ana Bray's [url=http://teambeyond.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/03-Strength-of-the-Pack-1024x576.jpg]Strength of the Pack[/url] also reinforces the correlation between the Alpha Lupi theme and the Twilight Gap, featuring the same color scheme and wolf head. And finally we have the [url=http://i.imgur.com/bXeNCEP.jpg]Bloodpact[/url] shader, featuring the same color scheme as Gjallarhorn, all the way down to the hidden red trim. The battle of the Twilight Gap is one of Destiny's most fascinating and mythical aspects of its lore, and its corresponding gear is equally mythical, in my humble opinion. Other fans seem to agree, from creating a fan-made [url=http://medusastaregaming.tumblr.com/post/125206559598/gjallarhorn-hand-cannon-this-is-supposedly]Hand Cannon[/url] to a [url=https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B_QL-p2U8AAYT98.jpg]Sparrow[/url]. Bungie, please make more Alpha Lupi gear! I would love to find out more about the Twilight Gap, and I desperately need more gear to go with the Crest of Alpha Lupi (preferably non-Exotic so you can wear the full set).
