In Paradox, Praedyth mentions that Pahanin was always talking to himself. This is actually Pahanin talking to the Super Good Advice, a gun which in the lore could talk to its owner. Just a fun little touch I noticed.
-
I'm pretty sure he created the Super Good Advice after he escaped from the Vault of Glass. I think seeing Kabr go crazy from loneliness is the reason he made it, so he never had to travel alone, like Kabr. Also, he could have been talking to the rest of Kabr's fireteam (six went in), but those other three could have been wiped from existence. Basically, he only looked like he was talking to himself because the people he was talking to never existed.
-
I wish the gun talked to us ;-;
-
If only Super Good Advice talked to us....in actual gameplay.
-
Yea, I knew since I owned SGA.
-
Did you notice the Easter egg in the logo of destiny. It is literally master chief's crotch plate.
-
It's not an Easter egg, it's all in the grimiore.
you are nothing and you have found nothing
-
But sga came after kabrs fall, so that's not quite right. I think the stress of the VoG kinda broke him
-
It would probably be a claptrap gun. "Guardian, what have you done those dregs had families they had lives, nah, screw those guys"
-
SGA: GOTTA RELOAD!!!! Me: No need to yell... SGA: EAT LEAD YOU DIRTY SAND TURTLES!!!!! GHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
-
The entire mission is an Easter egg to year one what's your point?
-
Crazy how praedyth is still alive...but dead lol
-
SGA was made after Pahanin left the Vault because the experience made him afraid of being alone. So...he couldn't have been talking to SGA in the Vault.
-
Has anybody brought SGA into the mission?
-
SGA Might be a trigger for the mission?
-
In the "Last Rites" mission (the stealth mission), if you go into the Crystal room in Crota's chamber, you can see Ir Yut (the old Deathsinger) floating around even though, presumably, we killed her months ago. Not sure if it was an easter egg or not but it was kinda funny seeing her just chillin when only months prior she wiped my fireteam countless times. It was almost nostalgic. Almost.
-
No, he made the Super Good Advice after the events that took place in the VoG, because he was afraid of being alone after seeing what happened to the rest of his team.
-
I think you've got it a little backwards. All lore points to Pahanin making SGA after becoming paranoid from the events in the vault. Likely, he always had some fear issues and talked to himself as a means of coping. But the events of the vault traumatized him and forced him to build something that talked back so he would never be alone.
-
-
Good catch, forgot about that.
-
Wish the gun itself could talk to you while you used it like some weapons in Borderlands 2 did. Would have made using the weapons much more enjoyable.
-
That's not an easter egg, it's just lore/backstory that refers to super good advice.
-
Didn't Pahanin make it after kabr fell? Maybe they are all still alive then if the timeline is messed up Besides Pahanin because he was killed by dredgen
-
Ahhhhhhhh..... Nice! Have a cookie.
-
Pahnin made sga so he had proof of his existence
-
He thought Super Good Advice was talking to him but no one else heard it talking, Pahanin was a nut job LOL
-
Thought he made it after he witnessed the fall of Kabr... Other than that, I didn't notice that ;)
