I mean in terms of like general performance/versatility they may not stack up to year one. However, I like the variety of weapons that Bungie has attempted to bring to the table. They are just trying to give us more options to choose from. And honestly there are some unique guns (which like I have agreed to, they don't really stack up to the best of the best year one guns for sure/without a doubt) that are fun to use, have their perks, have their usefulness, and have the ability to really give the gun its own personality. (Not saying all year one guns failed in any of these categories) I just sort of like this new wave of weapons imo

Can you give examples of some year 2 guns that match the top tier year 1s, also there's hardly a big selection of year 2 weapons if u look all the good players basically use the same set up

Telesto (exotic fusion rifle) Zhalo Supercell, exotic sword (any of them stack up well), (personally I like the Boolean Gemini and Jade rabbit, I know you will most likely disagree with those two but I think they are very good, I like high impact scouts with medium fire rate), and I personally haven't been able to use it but the Fabian Strategy seems to have decent perks/usefulness. Those are the ones I personally feel have stacked up thus far. Now I will say this as well, with the patch it is difficult to compare weapons directly side by side. Because if we are to compare how certain weapons were before the 2.0 patch leading up to TTK honestly any auto rifle now stacks up to old ones. If we are mainly looking at perks then yea the aforementioned exotics above I feel are decent, have decent perks that make them viable in many situations.

Telesto is horrible, rather have the vex, supercell doesn't do enough dmg!

Haha Telesto doesn't suck my man, but it sounds like you are looking for that easy mode PvP build. And I'm sorry but I don't think you're going to be able to find your "cheese" weapons anymore. Bungie is closing in on finding that perfect balance between weapons. I honestly like the balance the weapons have. And the reason why I am accusing you of looking for PvP weapons is...the Telesto is a PvE god bro. Multi kills (any multi kills whether it is instantaneous/collateral kills or kills that are closely followed up with another) spawn orbs. And now with the slower rate of super charges you can maximize the orbs you can spawn. Example: run a defender Titan with a machine gun with iron harvest, add Telesto, add a relic that allows you to spawn orbs with void damage...you are literally limiting your gameplay that you could get out of this game by just looking for op PvP weapons.

Cheese weapons? Please explain what you mean by this? Also having to use my exotic slot on a fusion rifle in pve is stupid, sniper is 100% more useful and frees the primary for an exotic
-
Well I just coined the term, but what I mean by it is, you want weapons that have the capability of killing an enemy in the least amount of shots with respect to how much you actually have to work to get those shots on target. I would imagine you are hoping to fill you primary slot with a thorn type weapon or a vex mythoclast as you so kindly pointed out as a weapon of choice. And I looked through some other comments and someone pointed out ace of spades as a decent exotic primary and you said you wouldn't waste the exotic slot. Well if you're are not going to waste an exotic slot on anything then what are you going to do? All legendaries no exotic? And I think you missed the main part of my last post, the orb spawning perk on the Telesto...are you kidding me? That is a really good exotic perk. But you are being too situational with the weapon you are looking for. You are judging the TTK weapons based on their effectiveness in two possible areas, raid and PvP. The PvP aspect is obvious, the raid aspect I just picked up on as you said the Telesto wouldn't be able to do enough dps so I assume you are referring to the raid bosses for TTK which require massive amounts of DPS. I just feel that you are selling the new weapons for TTK too short because they can't do it all (kind of like you cheese weapons thorn, g-horn, weapons that essentially can kill enemies with the least amount of effort put forth. That is why not all of the weapons in TTK are as versatile because Bungie wants their players to change things up. I believe someone commented earlier on your post and said exactly what I'm trying to explain to you, none of the weapons are op now. It's a fact of matter that makes the game more interesting and fun to play, making you decide on certain load outs for certain situation to make your character more versatile as well as increase your overall versatility as a player

How about we do a couple strikes see what's what

Your trying to judge my play style, your so wrong I use red death or messenger on pvp and have over 2.0 K/D in rumble and I don't need so called cheese weapons I've completed the new raid over 6 times I no what am talking about, also I've tried all but the raid rocket launcher out and they all suck

Red death and Messenger are cheese weapons mate. And I'm not judging you if anything I feel like you are judging me for thinking outside the box for my loadouts. I say one thing you come out say it's a stupid decision but you have nothing to show for it. I gave you weapon m, a loadouts, and a subclass loadout as an example of how to run an orb making machine in PvE and you call it a loadout that isn't viable in PvE? Haha more orbs = more supers in PvE which in turn leads to more damage output. I'm more of a support player myself. I personally like to run defender Titan and I feel like weapons like Telesto and the Fabian Strategy are really good PvE weapons that allow for some unique play styles. And I will end my side of this discussion with this, to each his own. Basically what I mean by that is, everyone has their own style. I can you respect yours, all I ask is that you respect mine. I have bumped your post enough for tonight take care guardian
