When you were a n00b in Destiny...
What were some things you though or did when everyone was new to this game and things were still being discovered? For example, early on in the game I literally used to think that at the end of Crucy matches or strikes, a random engram would pop up and if you got it in time, it would say that you "found" the reward it in the notifications. So at the end of matches I would sometimes look around for engrams or something to pick up. *faceplams* Wasn't until I got my first legendary drop that I realized this wasn't the case.
So what about you guys?

I used to think that the damage numbers that show when you shoot something were how much exp you were getting per hit. About 30 barrels and nearly as many lives later, i was still lvl 12...

I was a lucky noob on the first weeks of destiny as a level 26/27. I met a great guardian who was level 30. He helped me with nightfalls, queens missions and VOG raids. Forever thankful. If only he didn't remove. I kinda stopped playing with him when I hit lvl 30😧

Lmao in alpha I thought that special ammo and heavy ammo made your primary do more dmg. Luckily that didn't take long to figure out.

Always thought I had my super. I was so confused, and didn't realize that my abilities had cool downs. Also when I had yet to check what intellect did, and decided I never would need intellect.

Believing a guy who swore up and down if you saved up two purple engrams and dismantled one before decrypting the other the second would be a guaranteed legendary and not another rare... 6 legendary engrams later I ended up with three rare machine guns..

I got a legendary engram, but it gave me 2 shards and I was happy.

Didn't know who xur was so I couldn't get any exotics with the 20 strange coins I gathered. Also didn't know what the strange coins were for.

How do you get the arc blade weapon? It looks really good.

When I first started playing, I knew that glimmer was the currency and that it looked like small blue gems. When you killed enemies on the cosmodrome, little blue gems fell to the ground and I always desperately walked over it thinking I was picking them up haha
