Hi I'm new here.
I'm new here and i have to say that i like destiny, even with its flaws, but I have hit to say that this community complains more than any other community that I have ever seen. I'm an older gamer and that's the problem with this generation of gamers, you guys are negative about everything. Social media is a prime example.
It's so bad it has me complaining about complaining. lol
Either way I'm excited for destiny 2.0 and I have a feeling that great improvements are coming.

They are always really upbeat. Earlier, one told me how excited he was about ttk and had already preordered. I have literally never heard anyone bellyache about things over the mic like you see in the forums. The complainers here are a minority. A loud, nasally minority. And they feed off each other's angst exponentially. It's like a nuclear cascade meltdown. Like a Chernobyl incident where radiation is replaced by butthurt. In other words, don't pay them any mind.

However this game is extremely rush and little to no content for its hype. Not saying it's a horrible game, it has great concept. But in the hands of the wrong companies. Little to no story with you waking up from your ghost and then "oh we were powerful back long ago at sometime or somewhere" or "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain". Look up bits and pieces of story in grimoire card!?!? That's just -blam!-ing laziness!! I'm going to college for game design so this is my passion in game creation. Story, plot, character background, timeline events, story boarding is design 101. You got great graphics and gun play, awesome. Destiny looks beautiful but it's an empty shelf when it comes to lore. If your a grinder gamer, perfect, this game is made for the grinders. But players actually looking for story, characters, or cliffhanger won't find it here. All you know is your resurrected and your fighting the darkness....and what the story tells you(which isn't much) Plus the constant change to content every DLC. We grind for these exotic to in-turn get them nerfed into the ground because bungie rushed the content and didn't work out their weapon balances. Now we are at the hands of playing bungie's game the way they want us to play it. Not the freedom of our choice in how we want to play it. Plus it's kind of A taste of bungie's own medicine. They did create this forum for player feedback. Boy are they getting it. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it but not the way you like. But hey welcome, there are some good people in this game but a lot of bad too, like everything. So just a word of warning. the grind is real, the laggy servers are real, the hackers/lagswitchers/trials cheaters are real, the thorn/hawk moon/felwinter's lie hate is real. The gally cry babies are real, the repetition is real, the redundancy is real, and the RNG salt is real. Saddle up guardian! the adventure is salty...bring water Edit 1: forgive my phone it autocorrects the wrong words sometimes :-/

2 отв.No offens, but usually the older gamers dont care about the quality anymore. We are negative about Destiny for a reason. You can go watch plenty of reviews on YouTube (like AngeyJoe). This game is simply the worst MMORPG styled game that i have ever played. - Poor storytelling - Poor character customization - Poor classes (except supers) - Lack of endgame content - No matchmaking or ingame LFG - Highly overpriced expansions that gives you the same areas, but reversed - Lack of events (only iron banner) - Broken RNG system - Bad nerfs to piss of players - Bungie not listening their fans - Cutting original Destiny content and selling it via expansions - Bungie lieing before launch that what Destiny is going to be. And so on... There is a reason why we are mad.

There are a sole few us who happily welcome newcomers, who admire constructive conversation, and who speak with objectivity rather than subjectivity, albeit I understand your sentiments; "few" being all-too-accurate when regarding civil conversation Furthermore, I too approve of Destiny 2.0. 'Twas a most interesting update, sure. But it was unequivocally needed. The Guardian Malcontents who protest the latter are simply incapable of adapting to change. Do not argue with them, do not stoop to their level, for they will not listen. Compromise and understanding are impossibly lost to them, and your attention is better suited elsewhere. I find that usually the minority of people in any given community will tend to shout louder at times than the majority. They want their point be heard, so shouting as loudly as possible appears to be the only solution. Maybe instead of complaining about all of the negativity, actively encourage fellow Guardians to share what they like about the game. I see great posts in the forum and on various other sites about what people like about Destiny, but often it is overpowered by the shouting and attention we naturally give to negativity.

Which now only covers the firsr year DLC. Newcomers can go get the Guardian Collectors Edition, which comes with everything I got, plus TTK, emotes, weapons, and other awesom swag in game and in real life, for $80. This was just my final straw from a company I put 11 years into supporting and buying every collectors edition available. Someone else on here hit the nail on the head when he said 'they promised us the moon and gave us a clump of dirt from their backyard" While people may not be the best at expressing themselves in any manner, most, but not all of the complaints are well founded.

1 ответYes I agree with you but people don't complain for no reason. They complain about the bugs, hackers, thorn overpowerness, too hackers. That bungie doesn't really do nothing about now don't get me wrong they try to fix this but not hard enough that people keep experiencing this bs over and over. And if I were a gamer just wanting to play a game I wouldn't want to keep running into hackers and getting random animal errors or getting two shotted by thorn. Lol
