I haven't even attempted the 35 because people were saying it takes 5-7hrs. Is this really the time frame? Honestly how long do you really need from start to finish on an average run?
# finally did it! Took approximately 2hrs with Max weapons and 34 light.

There's a lot of elitists on here. The people who are saying he's easy are trolling. I'm a decent player with a solid team and we've spent 5 + hrs on three different occasions trying to beat him with no luck. It takes patience, communication, and skill. We plan on continuing to try until we beat him.
-
I have a gally and beat scolas so many times I lost count. Last night I switched it up a used my black hammer and was shredding him. U really don't need a gally to beat scolas. It helps but skill always wins
-
It's 1-2. 2 hours top.
-
Eaaaaaasssssssssyyyyyyyyy lol you don't even need a ghorn anyone who says you need a ghorn to do 35 is an idiot
-
If you have a group of friends you typically raid with and have good chemistry it's only about an hour. Personally the only section my squad struggles with is the cabal for some reason. But after a wipe or 2 we are on our merry way to victory. Just communicate and don't be a hero. Good luck.
-
Honestly I haven't beat the thing yet but all the rounds leading up to Skolas are somewhat easy if you have people with good gear. Skolas gets a little tricky once you get the burn effect every 30 seconds and when the disable mines show up, but if you have a fireteam with max gjallarhorn you can rip through him easy.
-
Lol it takes my fireteam 45 mins. People are just bad and exaggerate way too much. Any average team with 2 hands can do it within 1 hour.
-
4 отв.Started it around 8:30pm ish, gave up at 3:45am (we made it all the way to skolas and got a good groove but we all had headaches and had to get some sleep) so we didn't get to finish :(

It's a good fight and certainly beatable if you have a good team and know the mechanics. I like having a hunter on the team, although I've done it without one. If you're on ps4, add me and I'll do it with you sometime. You don't need Gally. Being a level 34 is a must, for me to do it with anyone though. I have all three characters at 34 so you could do whatever character you want. It's all about timing your attacks. Knowing when the mines are about to go and killing adds. I like to get him just above 25% health and have all three players simultaneously attack with launchers. You should be able to wipe him and get the last set of mines without adds shooting at you.

3 отв.I always do this with a second titan and a hunter. Hunter is awesome and solos the mines. 2 Titans just chain domes infinitely. Good communication and a good amount of heavy synths. No prob
-
I have a lot if experience with skolas and my opinion is 2 warlocks and a titan is the strongest team for this fight. The only "difficult" parts of the fight should be the mines. The 2 in the corners of the map are the easier ones and use the titans bubble for the middle mine. Now when your team gets split up during mines (there's a good way to not get split up) and players start dying, use the warlocks to self revive and work on getting everyone revived. Rinse and repeat. Hint for this week: Be careful on big platform, captains like to run up there and melee you. This will cause you to fail due to lightswitch.
-
Hour and a half, but you can get 32 and 34 done in half that time. Doesnt seem worth it unless you really need the etheric light.
-
Took my team under 2 hours and we killed Skolas first try.

2 отв.Light switch this last week (till tomorrow) was a little harder than most but it's doable. Not really worth it but not bad
-
My Team and I need like 1:30 Hours (average). Our best Time for a complete run was something like 1:13:xx.

Too Hard and Not worth it rewards are garbage

Communication and team work are key. But honestly, I don't think it's worth the time. Try completing it at least once for a sense of accomplishment. Then figure out if the time sink is worth your time.
-
No way, if it takes you 5-7 hours, quit destiny lol :) it should take 3max on your first time, team work is the only skill required, doesn't matter if you don't have ghorn ( sure it helps) but it's having that solid team, no one dying, passing the burn (calling out when you have 10 secs left etc). Go in with at least one invis hunter (to defuse the mines) and I'd say use two bubble Titans

Изменено (TrulyDontCare): 7/13/2015 5:23:50 PMWow. After reading some of this thread, I think I've completely lost interest in doing this. I haven't done it so far because I don't have a mic. Now I kind of don't care.
-
It all depends on the fireteams skill. My crew I run with it now it take about 2 hours max. Although I've had other crappy fireteams where we spent more than that and didn't beat him.
-
Everyone will say it's super easy. However it's pretty difficult compared to other activities in the game. It's nothing like hard mode raids that mostly anyone can accomplish. If you look at players that were carried through the raids, most of them have not completed 35 PoE. You can't really be carried through it. Your whole team needs to be on the same page.
-
It really needs a checkpoint. It took forever and we ended up being forced to quit due to fireteam members leaving or giving up. Sucks.
