Solo Crota's End for Flawless Raider
I only have 2 achievements left. Upgrade a Hunter sub-class, and FLAWLESS RAIDER!
So on Saturday I started my personal quest - get flawless raider by soloing Crota's End.
I'd never attempted to solo before. After lots of hours over this weekend learning how to solo this raid, after crap loads of wipes, a few early lucky runs, and too many "so close!" moments, I've got every part down near perfect.
But since then I'm stuck in this nightmare cycle of just having a major blunder every run...
..Messing up a run through the hall after the bridge (shriekers and thrall!!), getting swiped by ninja knights, running straight into an exploding thrall that appears out of nowhere or messing up the jump across the bridge.
It doesn't seem to matter how perfect everything is going, something always ruins the run. I'm starting to get really pissed off.
Any tips? Anyone that solo's flawless, how do you get through it without losing concentration?
The worst part for me is the period between killing the death singer, and being able to activate the crystal. That bit is just tedious. Acolytes constantly spawn out the doors, 2 yellow bar knights with swords constantly spawn either side and manage to sneak up and ninja me while my guard is down. Any tips for this part? How does it work? Do I have to kill a certain amount of knights before the last part of the raid begins, or is it just on a timer? .. the amount of times I've done this raid and I haven't figured that out yet and keep getting caught off-guard!
Also a good strat for killing the sword bearer at crota would be great.. just gally from above? sniping him? Or gally /shotty..
[spoiler]I'm not going to do the Hunter sub-class achievement any time soon. I can't put myself through those story missions any more. It's painful[/spoiler]
EDIT : ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED. SOLO FLAWLESS.

Just do the hunter sub - class in crucible. Levels it fairly quickly if you grab bounties for crucible and vanguard too. No need to do stories again if you don't want to

I snipe the swordberror on easy and gjallarhorn him on hard. Edit: I didn't read the posts before I posted but congrats on doing it!

Finally after many attempts, I got through it solo flawless :D .. only problem now is..got no more challenges I personally want to set myself.

1 ответhere is my flawless run as a hunter it may help some. I use very safe tactics for the most part on this run and I waited for synths so it took a while. I typically run through it much quicker now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lccd03miSXM but I see you run as warlock or titan. I run things differently now. For all classes do the lamp skip at the rock by blinking up to platform or for titan just use higher jump. It's easiest on titan. Then for bridge I also fly across using blink from pillar on right for both lock/hunter. For titan again higher jump is really easy here. Now for shrieker hall see my video, I like to hop on second coffin and gally second shrieker from there it's very safe and then retreat. For death singer use galli's and take down wizards and shriekers on left first, then do the same on right. Clear the room and don't hit deathsinger until she starts to sing. Then use blackhammer, 6 headshots kill her. Clearing after deathsinger is just tedious. Now for crota fight I like to take down sword bearer quick with golden gun, but if you are warlock/titan then use a shotgun. Try for double downs on crota. With practice it just becomes easier and easier so I would say just keep running it but try not to get too frustrated. Also practice a section if you struggle with it. So if crota is what you struggle on then do that part and don't do final slam and kill yourself to try again.

I can solo Crota on all characters and I did it with hunter / warlock / Titan when level 32 was the cap. [i][u][b]Darkness tips:[/b][/u][/i] Titan - defender, saint-14 helmet, blessing of light, bad juju helps with super a ton Hunter - Bladedancer, don't touch me, max stealth perks, run. Warlock - Voidwalker (if confident) obsidian mind, nova bomb with bloom, or if you want to run sunsinger do that with claws of ahamkara. I'd recommend at the end of the darkness using the rocks for the elevation. Saves headaches. [b][i][u]Bridge:[/u][/i][/b] You can build the bridge solo by running on and off the platform repeatedly, you need to practice the timing. Get across, kill stuff. You're done. [b][i][u]Thrallway[/u][/i][/b]: If you are going for flawless you better not care about the door at the end. Just use rockets for the shrieker, back pedal until the purple blast is gone. Jump to avoid the thralls. Pretty straight forward. [b][i][u]Deathsinger:[/u][/i][/b] Multiple ways to do this, personally this is my method. I always brought out the wizard on the right first (left side if looking from Crota's spawn point.) kill the wizard. Then move to the other side, drag out the wizard, kill it, then kill the shrieker on that same side. After the 1st shrieker is down, move to where you killed the first wizard, blow up that shrieker then rush deathsinger. If you are a hunter and happen to have celestial nighthawk, congrats. The fight is over. Titans, utilize the bubble and bob in and out using rockets Warlocks try to get up top above the boss and fire from there, toss some grenades to scatter the adds. [b][i][u]Crota[/u][/i][/b] Adds are easy so I'm not going to discuss that. Once both hallways are clear move out the left door, snag the chalice. Personally the easiest way I have done Crota solo was to kill the swordbearer right when he comes out, go to the rock formation on the right. Drop the sword, shoot rockets / grenades depending on your setup. Jump up to slash Crota, back down to the rock formation, repeat. After this dip back into the middle area and wait for Crota to move back, repeat earlier. If you didn't know, it takes 2 full gjallahorn shots to break down Crota's shield. I won't break down numbers for Crota on other rockets. You'll figure out what you need to do.

4 отв.Dude I only need flawless raider(that I'm aware of), yesterday I was at my buddies house and had some time to kill, so I got on his hunter and launched crota on normal. I had never attempted solo crota but he hadn't done normal so figured I'd get him some rewards. Long story short I got to crota without dying, I was shocked at how easy it was. I'm very experienced in destiny but had just never tried to solo it. I know it may not be part of your goal but if you wanna two man it, I'm sure we could get it done no problem. Crota will take a lot of practice to for me to solo at this point. But I'm gunning for that flawless raider achievement now.

4 отв.Sword bearer use a black hammer or a powerful sniper rifle and try to land consistent head shots. For after death singer you just gotta kill a certain amount of knights and acolytes before it starts.

2 отв.I've been trying to do this same thing. If you want, we can team up to 2-man this achievement tonight. As far as I know, you have to kill a certain amount of yellow-bar Knights in a set amount of time because they keep respawning.
