Played quite a few matches in Trials were guardians with green connections suddenly became red and then proved impossible to kill. Is this lag switching? I've watched a few Triplewreck streams were this same thing happened and heard it mentioned.
One match we actually had two guardians shot gunning a guy who's connection kept going red and we couldn't kill him. Just as we closed the gap on them his connection would drop and we'd lose again. One time he just ran past as we shot him and revived team mates.
So is it worth reporting and can bungie tell the difference? Is the report system just to make us feel better or can it actually work?

If they can, they do nothing, more money in dlcs without bans, this is awful

yea especially in iron banner its hard to get a win and u lose 5 times to laggers then thats it

The refusal to create regional matchmaking is one problem with this. The latency can change fairly quickly when you are linked up with 6 people or more thousands of miles apart in various directions

I report them everytime I come in contact. Ive notices fridays its much more prevalent then sundays and mondays. Its also interesting that I didnt run into it until the third week of trials...

I've seen so many titans with blink jump, I'm beginning to think there is a secret perk I've not unlocked yet. Let's hope future updates can resolve this as Trials is a lot of fun when it works.

Normally this should up show up as packet loss or extreme delay in the packages. Don't know if they are tracking this in their network code. The red bar isn't really a sign for this. Being invisible, "teleporting" over the map, not taking damage etc.

I've never seen it work, has anyone else?
