Here's my opinion:
Personally I've went flawless 4 times now, so Ive gotten a pretty good look at trials. I can finally say that trials is a complete joke of a game mode. It's complete trash. Not fun at all in my opinion. And I'll tell you why. I've been 8-0 three mother-blam!-ing times and lost. THREE! It's not even fun to me at this point anymore. And you could say I'm just butt hurt, (because I am if you haven't noticed) but all I'm saying is all I need out of there now is the rocket launcher (and then i would have all of the weapons) but now I might not even play it because it's not even worth it. Its stressful as -blam!-. It's a -blam!-ing joke of a game mode in my opinion. Even when I went flawless it wasn't even fun to me. It was more like work. I would rate it probably 4/10.
What's you alls opinions? I'm curious?
Love hearing all of the opinions. So far there's been minimal hate on this post! Keep it going.

Loved both weeks, me and my team dominated This week I hate it as we cannot snipe
-
I enjoy the play style of it.. But the whole not being able to lose at all in order to get into lighthouse spoils it for me.. I stress too much. Which makes me play bad and not enjoy it..

7 отв.Изменено (CannyJack): 6/8/2015 2:40:26 PMNope, but then I'm not close to good enough for it. I tried last week and this week, and we were issued Category 5 Beatdowns. We never even won a match, much less a game, and I don't see much point in going back (I expect it will only get harder for "casuals" and people just trying it out for the first time as the weeks go on). I'm good enough to do Iron Banner, but I'm not good enough to do Trials. I love the gear, the lighthouse, etc., but I will love it from afar.

Yes it's the most fun thing I've experienced in Destiny right along with running the sword and running the relic down below in vog. Haven't gone 9-0 yet but haven't really been pushing it. Didn't play this week at all and really only like playing that mode with a couple guys on my list.

No. Too many kids that have hours to memorize the map and the spawns before I ever set foot into Trials, so when I get there at 2100 on Friday I'm dead in seconds. I also have the luck of too frequently being matched against teams that are all 34s with all 365 weapons. Not complaining just stating the way last weekend played out. Maybe this week the odds will be in my favor.

Been flawless once( first week). A game mode where camping with 1shotting snipers is incentivated cant be fun, no matter on which map or on which side (winners or losers) you are. Moreover, stress aside, this mode strongly encourages elitism to a whole new level, where previously great teammates youve had fun with will turn on your back and kick you/banish you if you ever get a streak of mistakes. Honestly im fine with the idea of a super hardcore conpetitive mode for the ones who like it, but being destiny a mostly pve-ish "for fun" platform, giving such great rewards to a very selected few only widens the gap between players and will eventually break the community.

Never gone flawless cause I don't got a team and random from lfg suck. If you put all my characters together I average a 1.7 kd.. they don't call out and they quit because they lost.. and not going to start with the lag and everyone using snipers and thorn... I've only gone 5-0 three times haven't had any luck but I don't plan on playing destiny much longer since all 3 are lv 34 ... there's no point any more on grinding

It's so fun an really can be intense and I've personally had the MOST fun in a PVP event, with that being said, I went flawless on all three of my characters and managed to get the full Exile gear on my hunter and Titan, check if you want But all in all Trials is fun and worth it

At least you've gone flawless and reached the Lighthouse. I haven't even come close. If we're not getting cheated or if someone from my fireteam (or on one or two occasions the entire fireteam) is not getting lagged out (which happens almost every run--not entirely sure if we're getting DDoS'd or the connection is just crap), we're getting stomped on. I have yet to have an uninterrupted run where I've completed every match, eliminated or not. At the moment I'm not having any fun at all with Trials and I'm not even sure if I want to keep trying.

A couple friends and I ran it this morning. Not fun. We eventually just started goofing and that was hilarious. I would like the hand cannon tho :(

1 ответИзменено (Mikelarry85): 6/8/2015 7:13:13 PMIt's too hardcore for me, I get why some might enjoy it but once ppl start getting angry at one another and getting all into their feelings the game stops being fun for me. I tried playing with some randoms on lfg and the way some players act is just appalling over a game. And before some of you say "git good" I am actually a decent PVP player but I think I will steer well clear of trials
-
I'm not that great at pvp but I love the challenge of facing those better then me to get to the lighthouse gives me great pleasure knowing i have beaten them to get there and the tears I collect in the process
-
I'll stick to ib and regular crucible. Don't care to play it. Plus the gear is butt ugly.

1 ответYou say it's stressful but it's a competition... That's kind of the point. It's not so much stressful, it's more intense. All that does is make losing hurt more and winning feel that much better. Hence the huge divide among non pvp players and pvp players in the forums lately.
-
The reason I can't enjoy it is because i am VERY competitive, and if I lose, it makes me mad. So yes, it is enjoyaboe if I am not going for flawless
-
Its starting to feel more like a chore than a fun gameplay experience now. With all the cheaters, lag, glitches, and randomly getting booted for no reason....I dont even have the will to try for a 9-0 anymore

Изменено (I Can't Believe It): 6/8/2015 4:28:51 PMthe first two weeks I thought trails was really fun, and i went 9-0 on all characters for both weeks. Now comes the third week with widow's court, first glance I didn't think it would be a problem and then we spawned on the lower area by the church. WTF. This week was completely screwed over by the map rather than other players skill. Both maps before were easily capable to carry a win with both spawn areas, one team might like the other spawn but both were decent and had plenty of good points and bad points. Widow's court is just a mess for skirmish in general, the spawns are completely separate meaning that if you spawn on high ground you will a much better chance at winning since you can snipe down every exit to the church almost forcing the other team to head to their left at times. Overall trials was a shit storm this week all do to the map, and honestly it could have been avoided. I would like to see how trials is played when the spawns switch every round, that way if there is a bad spawn on a map it can still come down to strategies and teamwork to determine who wins. There are some others things that i seen were being abused as well in trials. The Ram helmet was heavily used to survive massive encounters with the warlock built around strength as well as being a warlock making it extremely difficult at times to kill them in their radiance, not that i want to put down the Ram or anything but it is meant for a voidwalker not a sunsinger and its perks should only be available on a voidwalker. Another thing i seem abused is the revives. I seen people revive their teammates just for the shield knowing that their friends were going to die either way, This is just a cowards way of trying to win gunfights in my opinion, and im talking about the over shields on the reviver not the person getting revived. The person who is getting revived shields are honestly lack luster seeing how snipers as well as timed sticky grenades can kill them as soon as the shield is gone, however the person who is reviving them is just using the shield and i lost countless gunfights were he won because he revived a teammate and got the shield for it. I dont want to see reckless revives just for shields because their not suppose to be that way, bungie put them in the game as a reward for reviving a teammate so you can run and heal if you were hurt trying to get the revive, but instead people are totally neglecting this and are just using it for shields rather than the teammates themselves. Simply i would like trials more if the maps were either. 1: better suited for skirmish play styles 2: spawns switched every round

Изменено (archarmonic): 6/8/2015 7:44:20 PMIt's been really fun for my team. We have always been PVE players so we aren't great at PVP yet but it's been a blast improving and building strategies. It can get frustrating and intense but that's because it's challenging for us.

Its fun when i win. Its fun when the other team isn't lagging or cheating.
-
I love it, funnest thing to do in the game right now.

No, I like iron banner better
