Been grinding since launch....Still no Gjallarhorn. Cant fathom why?
Hello everyone. I was wondering has anyone else had the same luck I have? I have been playing this game since launch. Doing nightfall's, raids you name it. Every one of my friends has this elusive weapon but me. Is my luck that bad or has anyone else had this problem? I missed the sale when Xur first had it(not enough coins) even my roommate got it. He has played maybe a few times. Is their any way to calculate or a algorithm to determine how I could best get it? Have you been playing since launch as well with no luck?

I was in the same position like 2 months ago..all my friends had the gally but me. I received the first one on a nightfall (omnigul) and since then now I have three gally. Just keep grinding..good luck

I have had 6 and I've played since launch. RNG can be a real asshole.

Don't have it and don't care. From the way i see it it's as if the game only has 1 strategy on bosses and that's to use ghorn. I almost wanna say the pve is based around this one weapon (i know it's not).

Don't have one either and no longer care about getting it. Played nitefall and got another exotic I already have multiples of. Friend who had gally equipped got his 6th gally. 6th! C'mon bungie obviously something is wrong with the RNG algorithm that allows multiple players to hit the jackpot repeatedly. If this was vegas someone in the desert would be getting the what for and a large hole dug.

I have everything except Hawkmoon. I have had 6 Mida's drop and 4 gjalla drop (3 dropped in the last 2 weeks).

Don't lose faith. I had about 900 hours since day 1 with no Gally. All my friends had it. Some had 3. I would do all weekly Nightfalls and Raids with all three of my characters and nothing. I eventually stopped caring. Once I did that, bam, Gjallarhorn on an Atheon kill. A few weeks after that, 2nd Gally dropped from Atheon again. But yeah, RBG is a bitch.

I have had 3 drop last week, must have had all my rng luck at one time.

It will come. Just got mine after 600 hours. Buddy of mine had more hours and just got it too. Makes it that much sweeter when you do get it.

I'm an alpha player, I don't have it. [I do the nightfalls, raids (I know how to run the relic and sword), PvP, etc.] The problem is that to the RNG mechanism - it makes absolutely no difference if you have 1 or 1,000 hours of game play. It has never seen you before so you need everything!

Same here but instead of Gjallarhorn it's the Hawkmoon. Weird: the same team I raid with 4/6 members have 3 hawkmoons each but no Gjallarhorn, while me and another member have 3 Gjallarhorns each but 0 hawkmoons.

I have about 3-4 months of playing and finally got to see someone get a ghorn. It was in a VoG normal chest a couple nights ago. Apparently it was his first as well. Meanwhile I have a few duplicate exotics... (Truth, The Last Word, Super Good Advice)

I don't think it needs a nerf. I don't have a opinion one way or another beyond that. What I curious is if anyone has had luck as bad as mine as its the only think I really want. Its kind of a bummer because I have been focused on it for months and I am getting drained by it.

Just got my second one yesterday but i haven't even seen a ps exclusive. Some people get certain ones over and over and and never see others.

The strength of this exotic is making it a requirement for prison of elders in most recruitment posts. You either won't be able to beat the boss with out a good team. Or you won't get into a good team without it cause you'll be booted. Honestly I hope it's nerfed because everyone is bitching about it and it ruins the experience for most.
