First HoW review is in! 4/10!
They basically bashed the game for being so lazy and recycling so much content. And I can say I agree with them.
Now many of you fanboys are going to get angry at this but they do have a point. What's your thoughts?

Reviews are worthless, you shouldn't let some random person on the Internet decide whether you like something or not, take Brink for example. It was rated 2/10 at best. But still a great game for me and my friends despite the only noticeable flaw which was heavily over exaggerated. Not to mention 9/10 reviewers don't even play the games entirely, therefore their "opinion" can't be justified because they haven't given anything a proper chance, yeah it might be different for this because they'd had to have completed the story if they even tried to play poe, not going to waste my time reading the rubbish you're trying to link. Point being: if you feel like you want something then play it for yourself and don't let someone you'll never meet decide for you just because THEY don't like it.

17 отв.My thoughts are that you're a dick, by insulting people who think differently to you by labeling them "fanboys", and then asking their opinion. As for the game, I really like it. Whether that makes me a 'fanboy' or not, I'm not sure.

The reviewed the story missions lol. That's like reviewing just the quests in wow lol. PoE and ToO are great imo

It also seems like they don't actually enjoy the game to begin with and went into it looking for things to complain about.

If you noticed, he failed to mention ANY of the positives of the DLC and just the negatives he has about it. I also noticed "we and our" alot. Its more like "my and mine."

The POE is the main thing for the DLC for PVE people and TOO is for the PVP players. That is the two main focuses of the entire DLC. They made both to have varying factors in them with the modifiers for POE and the different maps for TOO to be played on making it that one week you bring your shotgun and pulse rifle but nest week you use hand cannons and sniper rifles. Raids get repetitious and predictable and the crucible and Iron Banner were getting old. These two new events will be somewhat predictable as to what will happen but the modifiers in POE will make you change your strategy to beat that challenge. HOW is great and well planned but like every game it is not for everybody and they won't enjoy it as much as some people will. There is still the raids we can go back to or even the good old crucible if we wanted but now there is three times more content to Destiny then when they started and it was so worth the wait!

5 отв.Изменено (Goro): 5/22/2015 7:16:28 AMI think there are many recicled things but also many new things. Variks voice acting is outstanding in my opinion and Skolas is the best antagonist they ever introduced. I really like the DLC and then I would probably rate it 8.5/10.

I loved the dlc I loved the story(you met not leading up PoE) I also loved the prison and challenge it brought, I AM IN LOVE WITH ToO AND THE NEW GEAR FROM ALL OF IT so in my opinion compared to the dark below it is a 9.9/10 as no such thing as perfection

3 отв.My personal opinion: Comparing HoW to other similar genre DLCs - 7/10 Compared to the rest of Destiny content 8.5/10 Considering pretty much every other shooter recycles their content for DLCs, what did you expect? We knew that was coming. And i think that if we had received 3 more story missions, a strike, and a raid, it would quickly become super repetitive. Bored with PoE? Run the Vault. Bored of the VoG? Run ToO. Bored of that? Run CE. [i]Now I'm not saying that the new content won't get repetitive. Of course it will. But at least we have a little variety now[/i]
