I got no problem paying for a product. But we are paying for a product we already payed for. People being ok with shitty tactics that bungie and Activision are pulling is the problem. Sheeple just see shiny turds and flip shit and throw cash to get them. The gaming world is going down the shitter so fast cause people just stand by and accept it as the norm. We got -blam!-ed oh well. They cut content and people ok it. Then they sell it back to you and you're ok with that to.
They make you grind grind and keep grinding. They said our stuff from vog would never be upgraded so we delete it cause we dont have enough space. We delete our guns cause not enough space. Out of no where they tell us now you have space after we delete our shit. And we can upgrade our old armor after you deleted it. Now they will upgrade the old raid to 32 and rake in money off of no work. Now we get to grind for old shit in our "new" content.
They showed us diamonds got our money and gave us a peice of -blam!-ing coal and told us the diamond is in there some where we promise.
Bungie says we love your feedback then they turn off the comment section and say we always check reddit cause we love feedback so much. The fuk you say?
We beg for raid fixes for MONTHS and MONTHS. we finally get them and we still dont get nearly as much fixed as they said they would. When people "exploited" the queens wrath by doing the missions over and over again and dismantling the armor for mats. It was patched in 48 hours. But splash damage heavy ammo glitch and minotaurs being invincible to relics takes 6 to 7 months. But dont worry guys we can wear our helmets in the tower. WE CAN WEAR HELMETS IN THE TOWER...... Seriously why would this be a want of all the things we NEED. there was a team working on this. And a new jukebox near the hangar. Who the butt-blam!- asked for this shit. Yes i know they're seperate teams for separate projects. Cool take retard helmet and juke box team and put them on raid fixes team. Even if its only 2 interns take those 2 interns make them do shit that matters to speed it up.
But fanboys are fukin relentless there is no talking to them. If you dont fully love what they die for then you should just leave. They like the quantity of hours not the quality. Bungie fuked you all out of a great game for 35 extra dollars. And you thanked them...
Thats bungie screwing us in the ass and all fanboys say just be thankful bungle decided to screw us. They don't owe you anything. YES! YES THEY DO! a company is nothing with out customers thats what we are and next time i am taking my business else where.
Just stop looking at the shiny old stuff and look theres not really much new to this "new" content. Just the old repolished and 1 new activity and a social space that has been basically done since e3 2013.
Gamers as a whole should hold these companies to higher standards. Quit accepting mediocrity as normal. Even when i do take my business elsewhere the next company might see what bungie is doing and say look we dont even have to try they cut content and then resold it lied got away with it. Why dont we do that.
Gaming companies in general see they dont have to work as hard anymore from preorder numbers. They can sit back and say well we already sold x amount of copies so we can cut this out. Finish this later who cares we got the money already. They have no reason to stride anymore. They have no hunger to earn that money cause they got it months before the game hit shelves. Stop preorders, gamestop will have a copy. Stop accepting half the content for full content price.
Call me self entitled idc. I didnt write this thinking i would win everyone over. Its impossible to change a fanboys mind but if we can change one mind into at least thinking about it then thats a win. Or you can sit back and watch the video game industry crash like it did before.

1 ответI agree. This isn't "raging" or a feeling of entitlement. I'm seeing more and more of posts like these lately, for a good reason. Unfortunately they're tied in with "no raid?!" Complaints which people ignore. Ever since I saw a video by a guy whose YouTube name was like, "batman"something or other, it had me thinking about things bungie more than likely did/didn't do for the sake of profit. Yes, you can play the game for hours and hours, yes it's fun, yes the DLC includes new things. But we should have had it already. Maybe they could still release things piece by piece to draw things out but we shouldn't have had to pay for it. Once agin, I know it didn't cost anyone $1,000 but don't miss the point: it shouldn't have cost anything(anything besides the original $60 that is)

3 отв.They like the quantity of hours not the quality. This seems to have some truth to it... Gamers as a whole should hold these companies to higher standards. Yes. Definitely. Massive bullet sponges are WORK, not fun.

It could definitely be worse. I mainly play Destiny now for a few reasons. At the moment destiny is one of the cheapest mmo on the consoles. The other ones make you pay a monthly subscription to even play the game, or keep aspects away(ex: max glimmer is 2000 unless you pay a sub) at a $15 month sub the $60 is 4 months, which I'm sure most of you have played longer.

1 ответPeople should really do some research before posting such strong opinions. When there is evidence that content was cut from a game, or a game was released when clearly it was unfinished, then something is wrong with the industry. This has been happening with many games in the past few years. MCC, Battlefield 4, etc... Now there are "planned DLCs" like they already have plans for future content. Well why the -blam!- can't you just give us the most content you can in the original game, then actually ADD ON new stuff, instead of just unlocking the shit they left out. We are paying for an unfinished game, only to pay more to get the rest of it.

This is a disclaimer; if you do not intend to read this comment, in its entirety, do not read it at all. There will be no TL;DR at the bottom. I am not the OP. There are things you need to understand, here. None of what I am about to say is going to insult you, or anyone who reads this, and if you so decide to take insult, I do not accept responsibility. You are not the company. I can almost guarantee that you know nothing of coding and programming. So these "little fixes" aren't as "little" as you might assume. There was a finished, polished product, wrapped up and ready to go, a little more than a year and a half ago. It was almost done, they even had the beta. But, and there's always a but, there was a snag. Activision started pushing on Bungie to make the competitive multilayer aspect of Destiny a bigger and better part of the game, instead of focusing on the storyline. Unfortunately, I am writing this without any links to reddit, or youtube. Nevertheless, the lead writer, and project manager of Destiny up and left the company. Many people think it was because of Activision and the fact that the publisher had control of the developer due to funding and part-ownership, and the idle threats to rip that all away from them if Bungie didn't listen. ANYWAY, the guy who conceptualized destiny was either forcefully or willfully removed from the bungie team a year before launch, and they had to scrap a lot of the game, and make something to get out by September 9th. Unfortunately, it did not go as planned. Fast foward a year. The game has now been out for a month, and things are great. The first raid was a massive success, albeit a bit buggy. The exotics are great, people are hitting 30, it's smooth sailing. But there are a few. These few are the seeds of the ruin of not just Destiny, but the developers of Destiny, as well. The slowly start realizing thag destiny is not what they thought I would be. It's too easy. Over time, they grew frustrated, and they took to the forums, putting sole blame on destiny. Fast forward 7 months, present day. The forums, reddit, twitter, probably facebook, although I haven't checked, and youtube all have members of the destiny community that cry out for more, and more, and more, and it's not enough. It's never enough. Now, there was another battle destiny had to fight; mmofps. We have people coming from world of war craft and other mmo rpgs, and people coming from call of duty, battlefield and other FPS games, expecting this game to be perfect, fresh out of the box. This game isn't the first of its kind, but it is, thus far, the most successful. To give you a little depth, without being too long winded, destiny had three forces working on it; the developers, the publishers and the players. Bungie had lost their lead writer/inventor of the game, and had to scrap the game. Activision was more concerned with making the money off destiny and letting it die to advanced warfare, which, much to Activision chagrin, did not happen. And the customer base wasn't happy with anything, and couldn't know why the game wasn't what it was when it was shown off across youtube, E3, IGN, and other video gamer news and media. Destiny, from the JUMP, had already fallen short. When the game was released, I remember watching a video in which DeeJ or somebody from bungie said (this is along with a news broadcast on the forums) said that this game was still in the making, and we are part of the process. They said that we, as the players, would have a voice in the creative process, and that we, as the players, would help build a video game. He wasn't wrong, but he also wasn't entirely right. Everything they've done in the past few updates have been what the players wanted, what we wanted. All of us complained or whined about something on these forums, you and I aren't much different. If you, anybody reading this, had the option to change one thing about destiny, what would follow is probably "balance the weapons for pvp" or "add more content/refund players for the expansion pass and make it all free," but me? It would be to stop the contract between bungie and Activision to fond a better publisher and a better sponsor. Let's look at Activision's past, for a second; call of duty. People love that shit. They eat it like candy that'll make you skinny and attractive, when it's really just sugar coated turds, polished and given to the players. People will spend the extra $50 for the dlc, an extra $100 to buy the system with the CoD skin for the ps4/xbox one and the controller it comes with, and even more, IF Activision decides to do more than two dlcs for a game. They bully companies into doing what they want because they see the popularity in linear, competition that makes everybody special, and specials only special till its not. Did bungie screw up? Sure they did. But this isn't entirely their fault. It's partly ours for acting like spoiled little children because we have to spend money to get things we want, and it's partly the publisher for trying to act like Donald trump. You and I see things VERY differently. This game has potential. You just have to find it.

3 отв.Gotta say, story lacks, and doesn't even seem to have a competent story building (in game, excluding griomore cards). However, Destiny is worth what it costs, if not more. I truly believe anyone, who has 100s of hours in the game, cannot say that the game didn't worth the money. If there is... Well, i would call it greed and ignorance. The story may lack, contents of the DLCs may not be tonyour satisfaction. But, most ofnusbalready played the money's worth.

3 отв.Изменено (Deez): 4/25/2015 11:56:16 AMI agree in some ways. There used to be a time when you bought a console, bought whatever games and played till your hearts content. No it's about gaming companies having a constant source of income for one product. Granted the games consoles now are far more powerful and the graphics are amazing, but it seems there are few game companies focused on just creating an amazing gaming experience. Take for example "the last of us" that was in my opinion a great game, strong story, good dialogue, believable characters and very fun to play, but it didn't back you into a corner and make you feel as if your not getting the full game unless you pay for more. I know destiny can be played without a DLC but it seems console games are taking the same route as "freemium" apps. There's a cycle, you grind, you get a little reward, you grind some more, a little reward then grind some more. Then they dangle a shiny DLC which will enhance your experience for another 20 bucks or whatever it is, so now you've payed for your console, the game, a DLC on top as well as the psn or Xbox live fee's. EDIT: I do also feel activision may be the driving force in the whole monetary set up of destiny, just from what I've heard around, don't quote me :) I've had fun and still do have fun on destiny but I do sometimes miss the days of having a great game you can play as much as you want and do something as simple as have a friend round and chuck them another control and play on "golden eye Nintendo 64" ......good times

I do agree with you quite a lot, these trends in gaming are rather alarming. One I can't quite comprehend is the failure of MCC's launch; Microsoft knew that everyone was on edge after Halo 4 and yet they still gave the all clear for MCC. So now that they've wasted time that very well could've been spent on Halo 5, they've also estranged many halo fans and lost much faith in Halo 5. I don't necessarily agree with the the arena however, for me, as long as the experience is equal to a raid, or as worthwhile as a raid, then I won't mind; however the fact that they're reusing cut content for the reef that could've been in the base game is not good. And all these little fixes in updates aren't content to help mitigate the lack at of such at launch, you'd think Bungie would give some free DLC of some kind? I feel as though thats Activision's fault.

3 отв.I agree 100 percent . We paid 100 bucks for a beta that has slowly turned into a complete game . This has become a popular theme with PS and XBOX!

Minotaurs are even worst now, it's like you are hitting them with your fist.

Wall of text. It's the new business model. There is nothing you will likely do about it. In the old days there was not a constant internet connection to a gaming console so a game had to be complete out of the box. Now they can continue to provide additional (or original that was left out) content directly to the end user. And they can sell it to you! Why? Because you buy it. And that model will be here for a long time.

1 ответNobody ever seems to talk about how the game market -blam!-s over digital downloads. Why am I paying retail price for something that is not being sold at a store. I honestly believe that digital downloads should be at a lower price say 10% for the convenience.
-
3 отв.Already on disc huh? So why have they been doing things to it? If there was anything in the disc it was scraps and not the full thing a placeholder for the content they knew they were going to release later if you like.
-
I'll be honest I skimmed and all I saw was rage. I've played stupid games on my phone and spent more than I did on Destiny. I played a star wars force collection card game (digital cards) and knew people who dropped $250 of real money for a single digital card. I myself spent around $700 over 6-8 months on that game. Yes eventually I did sell those cards and profited, but I know many who spent and spent and spent and never recouped any. My point... the $100 (disc+dlc) for the 500+ hours I've played, and on a game the quality of destiny... well worth it. I personally look forward to seeing how destiny evolves as they see how players react. HoW gave me some faith that they DO listen to the community. They unfortunately time their beneficial patches to benefit themselves, but still it's evolving.
-
Oh no, they're giving you a reason to actually go back and rerun VoG and CE after HoW comes out. This is pure heresy! Pure heresy, I say!
-
The gaming industry isn't going anywhere just to let you know. And games today are more amazing than ever. So what, they cost more. We all knew this day would come.
-
I agree and that's why I refuse to buy the DLC, also I play less than 4 hrs a week now. If Comet doesn't change things content wise I'll probably stop playing altogether.

Get a life.

9 отв.Seriously your just as -blam!-ing retarded as the next person. I've played this game since beta, the raids were never as glitchy as you say, most of it comes down to peoples Internet connection. Since day one ive had probably 4-5 vog raids glitch (solved by going to orbit and going back in) and 3 crota glitches. Most players have between 400-600 hours invested currently, with the trials/arena/all the new gear and releveling old gear, the average player will hit up at least another 200-300. As I've said in other posts. Take Battlefield and cod and halo. 3 big games. Average of 8-12 hours of gameplay maximum before you just do pvp. That's it for pve content. Each of those costs £60. So just for retards like you to understand PVE CONTENT AVERAGE COMPLETITION CoD 10 hours £50 Battlefield 10 hours £50 Assassins creed 1-7 12-15 hours each £350 Shadows of mordor £50 12 hours So right there you have £500 to get 137 hours roughly of gameplay. So you still think £80 is a lack of content?
