Just because there's matchmaking implemented, doesn't mean you have to choose that option. What is it people don't get about that?! You CAN STILL choose to find your own team. Match making will simply allow other players who, don't care, don't want to find a team, or simply don't get picked to join a team, have a chance at playing end game content. If you don't like match making then you don't have to opt in for it. Simple as that

This. How many lfgs have already started Crota? How often does a guardian start a raid and then lfg? Hardly none. Where would MM be helpful? You get a group of 4 or 5 and roll MM for the others you can't LFG You have a busy week and can't Raid til perhaps Monday night when most good raiders are already done. You're like me and your 3d guardian is stuck at 30 and needs just TWO more raid drops to FINALLY see all 32s on his page but looking for a group that will take a 30 Hunter in Crota is next to impossible... Sorry what were we talking about?

I completely agree. It's frustrating knowing you might be stuck in a rut because of your gear, because you can't get into raids. I personally believe that there is too much room for error with a possible match making system. Because here is the thing. There is currently no way to kick the troll/nerfherder out of your group. So you have to leave and rejoin match making with your group to try and find another person. Repeat this process enough times and I think eventually you will wonder why you didn't go to the forums and try to find someone. On the forums you can look at someones profile, check out there current completion rate and k/d. Match making will be completely random. Anyway, that is just my thoughts on the subject. I hope others share their opinions. This is kind of a hot topic lately.

I think if you enter matchmaking as a fireteam the leader should be able to boot the rando. Otherwise perhaps if you leave a raid because of a bad group you should be able to reroll to your checkpoint. I dunno how difficult this would be to implement.

That is one of my main concerns. Bungie is talking about how hard it is to fix lag in pvp and vault space. I can't imagine what they have to do to polish match making to a T.
