If dragons breath had tracking (the solar flare with tracking too) would it be better than gjallarhorn?
Hmmmmmm
2 отв.Gally is a boss weapon. DB is a crowd control weapon. I use it on stationary enemies(streakers) and to breakdown surges - drop it where the enemies enter then take them down with a primary. Also great at forcing enemies where you want them. It's a fantastic weapon if used correctly. There is a reason why we have options.
-
Nope. Gjallarhorn with wolf pack = damage equal to 2 rockets. Dragons breath (should have been called shark week) with its solar burn doesn't equal 2 rockets worth of damage.
-
3 отв.I bought Dragons Breath from Xur before I got Gally, it is more like vault decoration than a reliable rocket launcher, and tracking won't change that, dumb rockets are only one of DBs weaknesses.
-
3 отв.Rofl no, every enemy moves away from the solar flare.
-
-
Only if the solar flare sticks to the enemy
-
If my aunt had nuts would she be my uncle?
-
1 ответMake it so it spawns 4 solar things in a square around the impact point!
-
Agreed. I keep thinking about this every time I use the DB
-
I don't think so. Solar flare doesn't seem to be that good unless your enemy is trapped and can't move. Otherwise they run away from it.
-
No even if an enemy sat on the flare for the while effect the dragon's breath does 200 less damage then gally, the only possible way dragons breath does more damage is if multiple enemies stayed on the flare for the life flare (which we all know never happens)
-
Wolf. pack.
-
If the dragons breath tracked and the solar grenade stuck to enemies so they couldn't escape it it would probably be the best weapon for downing crota
-
11 отв.Dragons breath does hold 3, that would be handy

2 отв.Dragon's Breath could have been awesome - and it's got such wasted potential. The solar flare could've been replaced by blanket napalm type fire - that just erupts and goes everywhere. Being burned by said fire could make it travel for a certain amount of time - further stretching out the radius of damage. That's just my idea though - I find it kind of crappy that it's simply a Warlocks grenade animation being used. But to the question, if Dragon's Breath had tracking (Just the launcher, I don't know how you'd have the solar flare track targets) then I'd say it'd be just under Gjallarhorn - it'd be a viable alternative - not better, but not bad. Right now though, it's pretty crap in my opinion.
-
If the solar flare also stuck to the enemies, maybe yes. Problem I find is that enemies tend to move away from it, so if the rocket tracked the enemy, and the solar flare stuck to the enemy... that would be one awesome weapon. At least on the same level as ghorn imo.
-
7 отв.I think , the dragons breath could be more appealing if the flare is way bigger , like really big
-
Изменено (puppyk1sses): 3/6/2015 5:46:56 AMNope, cuz of Wolfpack and the fact that enemies just move out of the way of Solar Flare.
-
1 ответWhat if the target is moving?
-
Probably not because what if the target is moving, then the flare is pretty much useless
-
Dps was proven to be more than gjallarhorn, if that flare stuck to targets it would be OP a fu
-
Tracking + dot would complete it IMO.

Изменено (zX_Conviction_Xz): 3/6/2015 5:20:28 AMWould be sick. Not sure about better but definitely up there. I wish it would burn targets over time rather than the flare where the target/s move out of the way
-
Solar flare makes enemies move, how could it track? Maybe if it stuck, but the damage still wouldn't come close.
-
Do you really have to ask that question? The best rocket will always be Gjallarhorn. It would definitely make the Dragon's Breath more appealing though.
-
3 отв.No. But it would be about on par with truth then
