How is this possible? What is everyone doing? A lot of people have asked where I got this information. I'm going off the ps4 trophy list is says 18% have earned the trophy for completing a raid. I know this doesn't take xbox into consideration but I think the large sample size of playstation users should be a good indicator across all platforms.

No match making. What did you expect?
-
Nobody reply on lfg :(
-
Not everyone has 5 friends to run raids, or 5 friends willing to run raids. There is no match making and if you want to join with a bunch of randoms you have to either hangout in the Tower asking people to join or find people off non-Bungie sites. Bungie hasn't helped in this matter so I'm not surprised it is that low.
-
Isn't that really though? I seem to remember a stat of about 5% on average raiding.
-
Given I've been playing solid minimum 3 hours a day since October I've done it once. Can't get any games every one is so elitist. I'm too latest to the party to do the raids no good groups will let me join and only ramshackle groups I join which tend to always fail.
-
If you look at a lot of games you'll notice the further into it the trophies go the less people have done them. Little Big PLanet 3, Killzone Shadowfall, Infamous Second son. Same thing with all of those. It's interesting cause it shows people buy the game play for a bit then stop.
-
18% of people who got the game. Many may have tried it for a week then traded it in
-
That statistic is not surprising when you consider how many registered users have not continued with the game after receiving/purchasing it initially. I think your surprise is predicated upon seeing the numbers relative to the most loyal user base, where the number of participants who have completed a RAIID would probably be significantly higher. But if you weigh in all the people who moved on to other games/activities after a short period experimenting with the game, coupled with a still significant user base (many of whom have responded in this thread) that have time and other issues preventing them from doing RAIDs, I think the number is less surprising than it might initially seem.

They are too busy bitching about the lack of content and pushback of dlc... Oh, and Xur.

Bought the game close to launch and completed my 1st Raid (CE) about two weeks ago. Hard to get on with my friends with a 6 month old baby. Rather spend the time w/ her & wifey. However, I think that numbers deceiving because I know more people who bought this game and played it for a month or less. Only a couple buddies of mine stuck with it.

1 ответI was a hold out, I was a day one player that didn't play a raid until the last week of January. I held out because I didn't know enough people on the game and refused to join a clan. I finally did. I have never enjoyed this game more than when I was playing the raids, they are easily, hands down, the best part of the game. I went form a 29 to a 31 in that time. The drops are awesome and just the coordination is needed. Anyone who has not run a raid needs to, the lack of matchmaking was annoying but actually made sense, I wouldn't want to run raids with people I didn't get along with. (Though I still feel that Nightfalls should have matchmaking)
-
I believe it's not only a lack of matchmaking.... most likely people just stopped playing somewhere in the middle of the game, after the main story or somewhere on their way to 32. Wouldn't be unusual that only a certain degree of players completes a game.
-
Getting into a raid group is all about promoting yourself even if you have zero to little experience. When that doesn't work, you make your own group. It's called being pro-active and worked well for me. I learned VoG by pretending to be experienced and adapt to the others.

Christmas noobs

Lots of people have quit also

Изменено (MaCDaddyshrimp): 2/12/2015 3:33:12 PMAnyone on here who has not completed a raid watch the FireLordsUnited24hrStream and ask Sgt-Richard4720. They will take people thru the raid and ask you to join our clan. We help people as much as we can and are around 250+ members across all platforms -MaC-DadDySHRIMP

Its because there is no matchmaking. You have to go outside the game to find a group. Then, you have to pray that a team will take you even though you don't have the Gjallahorn.
-
Keep in mind that i choose not to share ps4 information.. i am out of that stat.. im sure alot of others are that took the time to read the privacy policy.. just saying..
-
I bet only like 30% have got this forum
-
That does seem pretty wacky.
o KRIT o Wrote - 2h 32m ago - 100% matchmaking..
I think that is a spot on assessment.
-
Wow. I guess we're awesome, then.
-
People complain about matchmaking in the strike playlist. It will only be worse in the raids if they added it.
-
If this really is because of no matchmaking, then it looks like the majority of players have no friends. I've gotten players from the forums for raids before, but most of the time I do the raid with people I already know, so not having matchmaking isn't a problem for me and shouldn't be a problem for anyone who has even the smallest social life.
-
By sheer random chance I have ended up in the raid with the same guy at least Twice

41 отв.Because no matchmaking.

That also shows that there are fewer whiners and elitists than we think (for those that bitch about either) because the population for these forums is much smaller than the player base actually is.
