How is this possible? What is everyone doing? A lot of people have asked where I got this information. I'm going off the ps4 trophy list is says 18% have earned the trophy for completing a raid. I know this doesn't take xbox into consideration but I think the large sample size of playstation users should be a good indicator across all platforms.

Not everyone is interested in raids, that's why

5 отв.Crota's end is an overhyped strike.
-
Matchmaking would solve that problem
-
That's out of everyone who played the game. So someone who played it once and never played it again counts
-
11 отв.That's 18% of all the people who ever played destiny. 75% stopped playing when they saw how little content the game had

I wonder if PS4 has the same problem Xbox has (and before some of you start, this isn't Xbox as a console's problem it's Destiny's problem), where achievements don't pop up when you get them? You have to do something very specific to get them to register, and most people don't know about this. So I wonder if maybe more people have completed a raid but just don't have the trophy/achievement.

1 ответ18% isn't bad. only 60% got 777 Grimoire score.
-
You need a team of 6 people... As a shy solo player, it's hard for me, man!
-
Not 18% of current players
-
I just want an lfg tag so anyone recruiting for a raid would know who is looking for what. But there are plenty of sites that make looking for a raid fairly easy.
-
Yay I'm in the 18% :D

13 отв.This percentage would go way up if they added matchmaking for raids. People who don't have an excess amount of friends playing destiny (myself) find it difficult and a bit of a pain to raid with randoms. Hopefully they will consider this in the future

4 отв.The raid is not nearly as important to all players as raiders like to think it is. Not everyone cares or wants or needs to be lvl 32. You dont really need it and more than likely wont need it even in HoW for the normal level mission or strikes. A lot of players just play for fun and dont care about what level they get to in the game. Plus since it has no MM, most players dont want to waste the time to look for groups or dont have enough friends that play the game to get a group together to do the raid. So add up no MM(which really it does not need), not caring what level you are(plays for fun), casual player(plays for fun), has a life outside of games(plays for fun), does not need to be a snowflake(plays for fun). And really that is not surprising at all.

Me and my friends haven't completed one because it's just the three of us. We have no other friends and this game has a lot of 3 player content. We also work a lot and have other stuff going on. I've been on two VoG runs but both groups split just before Atheon. I don't even know why the second group broke apart. We got to the Gorgon part in like 25 minutes, with no wipes and easily running through everything. After they left I spent about an hour just screwing around in the Gorgon maze, learning pretty much every inch. The first raid we tried, a guy tried to explain it while his drunk friend yelled stupid stuff in the mic. We couldn't understand them and just left before the Gorgons. So no completed raids.

I AM THE 18%.
-
Thats 18% of the people on psn.... More than 18% have done it on xbl

1 ответI'm not suprised. This is a pseudo MMO. The social aspect of the game exists on Bungie's website. Not on an ingame system. Even using the website, there's plenty of groups formed from the recruitment page that fails to kill Atheon/Crota.

3 отв.Not really surprising to me. I have had the game since launch and only did one normal VOG run. True my playtime is on the lower scale around 150 hours or so, but still. Several reasons personally. 1. Started game not wanting to rush through. Figured if raiding is the end game why would I want to do it in the first couple months if I planned on playing long term. Just wanted to enjoy the rest of the game. 2. Sort of with point 1. Just did what I enjoyed and didn't really make it a priority. Was more of a pvper. Was in my low 20s and realized I had only just opened up venus and that I should probably finish story. 3. Time. 95% or more of the time I play any game on my ps4 it's for 1.5-2 hours. Very few cases is it more. The one run I did before happened to be when my wife and daughter were overseas visiting family for a few weeks. Was away for 10 days working and back 4 days. Spent almost all 4 days doing mostly pvp but everyone talked about how good raid was, expressed interest to my buddy and happened to have a couple guys he knew doing it with some randoms. Really enjoyed it, but was literally flying a few days later to join my family. Since then have definitely had some interest, but not going to start when I don't have time to finish. Kind of funny that it wasn't until the end of this prime raiding time that I realized it was actually a lot of fun to do them. 4. Matchmaking. As others have mentioned.... Had tried a couple times before and everyone posting LFM is asking for icebreakers, gjallahorns, etc. Where as you're asking someone to show a fairly new raider the ropes. No responses of course. Bungie has made people regrind these things so much and everyone just wants to get through it as efficiently as possible. Farm status. 5. Friends. One coworker plays a fair bit and has done several raids, my other two buddies don't play that often, but when I do get on and any of my friends are on I want to be able to do something with them even if I would have time to raid. They aren't high enough level, but enjoy doing crucible, especially cause it's often just me with randoms, or lately I've been trying to help them level up so maybe we can do a raid in the future. Still occasionally I will get a weekend afternoon where the wife just wants to rest a while and doesn't mind if I go downstairs to play while I keep an eye on my daughter. Was talking to my coworker about doing another raid sometime. Would definitely be up to trying it again if anyone needs another person or something.

2 отв.Изменено (Amadis001): 2/12/2015 3:43:45 PMIf matchmaking put people together based on their approximate number of raid completions then it could work. Noobs would have to learn the raid mechanics and how to cooperate and get better before joining elite teams most of the time.
-
"Completed" key word. I would bet the % who have cleared either raid all the way up until the final bosses is much higher. At that point many groups crumble after a few wipes instead of remaining focused and communicating about strategy effectively, not just pointing fingers.
-
I don't even know why you'd play this game if you weren't running raids with people.
-
No match making. What did you expect?
