How is this possible? What is everyone doing? A lot of people have asked where I got this information. I'm going off the ps4 trophy list is says 18% have earned the trophy for completing a raid. I know this doesn't take xbox into consideration but I think the large sample size of playstation users should be a good indicator across all platforms.

Really? Wish I could see on Xbox.

There are a lot of players who have quit as well. If there was a way to factor them out and only count active players it would most likely be a larger number
-
1 ответLfg forums are full of extremely bad players. In most groups you won't be successful. Most people are more skilled in roc playlists. I would rather fail in a matchmaking team then spending a hour putting together a team to fail anyway.
How is this possible?
The big question is the split between PvP vs PvE players. If 75% of players are strictly PvP, than that 18% is a pretty high % of PvE players. If 25% are strictly PvP, that is a much worse result.

1 ответDude, you need to take Xbox into consideration or you information is entirely wrong?!
-
I don't know enough people/Don't have the patience to randomly look for people/Only have time for such things probably 1-2 days out of the week and don't feel like that's using my free time wisely.

1 ответИзменено (Gabe): 2/12/2015 6:51:30 PMI talk about it here too I really think that you will not find the other 82% of people who haven't done the raid on the forums. Based on this poll I did, the stats are reversed for forum goers. Many people seem to forget about your average Joe gamer. They are in large numbers and all they do is simply play the game. They don't follow Bungie, they don't go to their forums, they just play the game. Which is totally fine, it doesn't mean that they're not into the game, its just how they've been playing games. So because they only play them and don't use any external resources like LFG or the forums, it is harder for them to complete the raid. In conclusion, I honestly think this is a reflection of Bungie's decision to not include a form of matchmaking. While I understand the opposition to random matchmaking, there are other ways to solve the problems we address while giving everyone who owns the game easier access to the raids. For example: in game LFG. Now, rather than just the tens of thousands who visit LFG each Tuesday (which is usually their peak) we can get the millions of people who play the game each day involved in this process, thus increasing the 18%

5 отв.The rewards(the weapons) are just not worth the effort.
-
Don't have 2+ hours at a time to play
-
I've played Destiny since launch and the only raid I've done was VoG and only twice. I usually spend my time doing strikes, patrol with friends, or sucking at crucible.
-
Finished the raid but a lot more people have played part of the raid
-
That is actually a lot higher than I thought haha. I know so many gamers that never finish games.
-
Cause they all quit and said there isn't enough content lol
-
9 отв.Well if they would just do a matchmaking so u can play with randoms just like you do with strikes the number would sky rocket. I understand itd be more difficult having less communicatuon with people you dont know but it still gives those who dont have a raid group a chance. Huge missed opportunity for some

1 ответI tried doing a raid for the first rime this saturday. Spent around 2 hours on LFG stating that i want to learn the raid. I only joined 1 group, turned out to be a bunch of kids. Nobody paid any attention to me. They weren't even interested in playing legit. They started doing some glitch with going through the vog door by jumping from the sparrow. At that point i just quit. Needless to say, didnt learn shit.

That's actually not a bad percentage.... look up how many WoW players never seen a raid.... (and that game is 10 years old with super-easy matchmaking tools...) Much more interesting is the fact that even less people have completed hard-mode VoG and out of those an even smaller percentage has the Vex Mythoclast. But in nearly every pvp match I enter, someone has the damn thing... o_O (luckily I have one myself...)

32 отв.100% matchmaking.. Posting on a recruitment board, explaining youre a noob with no experience, mediocre weapons, and hoping someone sends you an invite sucks and takes a while usually! If we had matchmaking all anyone has to do is watch a couple tutorial videos on youtube and just keep attempting the raid till you find a good team! Most people will be able to do the raid if they just get a chance with a decent team thats communicating.. Matchmaking might put you in terrible teams.. But so does the recruitment board to be honest.. Give us the option Bungie!

I'm in class bored out of my mind
-
That number is deceptive. It includes all PlayStations, even ones that have never played Destiny.
-
5 отв.Every trophy percentage is low He more copies the game sells the lower the percentage is if it was higher it would mean nobody is buying destiny anymore
-
1 ответthis is because of the reluctance to add matchmaking. i'll admit it still would be a challenge to complete it as it requires communication but at least it would give that 18% a chance

22 отв.Изменено (Proghouseman): 2/12/2015 4:57:25 PMNO MATCHMAKING. Period. End of story. This is the biggest failure of the game. Should have used the word optional. Strike problems always turn out fine because afks eventually get booted. You don't need to have a mic in raids, it just helps. You anti matchmakers aren't using your imaginations well enough. There are several ways it could be implemented and then BETA tested. But have the game your way. 18% of the Destiny population raiding means it's clearly a failure as it currently stands. You anti matchmakers are just assuming this is a bad idea with just circumstantial evidence. I solo strikes and nightfall all the time. Obviously one cannot solo a raid. But get 6 people together who've done the raid before? It won't matter if someone doesn't have a mic or goes afk. The MM system can boot the afk and replace just like in a strike. My raid experiences are that even on the recruiting sites you get paired up with dbags and cheesers. What the hell is the difference? Just BETA test it. No harm, no foul if it goes off horribly.

5 отв.I played the game since release, but I waited to long to try the raids. Posting to find a group and telling them that you have some to little experience pretty much keeps you ignored. I'm not going to lie and act like I know what I'm doing for the sake of finding a group, so yea pretty much everyone is an elitist prick nowadays
-
Изменено (msqar): 2/12/2015 5:46:39 PMYea... and the "Perfect Raider" (or something like that) which is the one that you need to complete a Raid without anyone dying.. which i had a few weeks ago, only 0.1% of people has it... 0.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DA FACK?
-
Btw that percentage is not accurate at all People only count towards that if they actually manually hit sync trophies which most people never do that's why the trophy percentages for every game are ridiculously low Not sure how anyone else doesn't understand this it's common sense
-
Not everyone is interested in raids, that's why
