2.0.0 is super buggy, whenever I start up the game it gives me "Oops, something bad happened please wait a moment." Then it hits the title screen, and if I start it up my console freezes, not to mention it's forcing me to get all the previous compatibility packs even though I already have them. In case it's console specific I'm running it on an Xbox 360 with the downloaded version of the game.
Edit: After downloading several of the previous patches I believe I had 8, 7, 6, and 5 it started up no problem. Why it forced me to redownload them I haven't got a clue. The best advice I can give is, let it redownload previous versions and hopefully it all works out.

Hello, I would suggest closing Destiny, clearing the cache of your console, and attempting to relaunch the game. If this does not resolve your issues, please attempt re-installing Destiny.

This has been happening to me the whole week... What now? Already hard reset, reinstalled, moved to a external unit, disconnected, and nothing.

Hey for everyone who has this problem on the xbox 360 i just found a way to fix it. Ok, first you have to have a usb that can hold all of your destiny files, then transfer destiny to the usb. After the move is completed it should say failed to move, and the only one that didn't move to the usb is all your DLC's and the title update. Take out your usb and then start up destiny and it will work just fine. (but it will download the compatibility packs again.) Hope I could help :)

I had the same problem and I fixed it! Turn off your console and take out the hard drive and put it back in. Simple. It worked.
