.. and why I played it on different characters because we all know it’s going away. The game is completely unbalanced now but this gun is actually in a good spot. Is it OP? Yeah, like heck yeah, it is. But so it should be! It’s the new seasonal exotic. It should kick A. Your enemies on Mythic and whatnot still hit hard enough to make it challenging. I mean, your hydra with rotating shields that fires nonstop and basically one-taps plus has projectiles that deal half a kilometre of splash damage .. yeah, I think if I have to peak-shoot that with a scout for 5 minutes we’re still in a good enough place difficulty-wise. And melting red bars etc. … yeah, that’s as it should be. I’m a guardian. Running a high-powered weapon with a punishing reload time. I shouldn’t have to spend an entire mag on a red bar. I’m not sure who this game is for at this point. Day 1 raid is a struggle even for the tryhards who are literally the target group and coincidentally the ultimate reason for the high difficulties. The time that people spent in the first days, grinding 24/7, exploiting Encore etc. - what an “exploit” btw .. don’t you think if someone puts themselves through running that thing a billion times, they kinda earned the progress? Anyway, it’s wild. This game needs to rethink its entire approach. I’ve read so many times that the game caters to casuals. I don’t know what distant universe you’re all living in but for a casual, this game is straight up inaccessible. It’s a joke. This is for hardcore fans. And I’m considering myself kind of a diehard supporter of the franchise but I know I’ll have to settle for some T3 gear probably. Especially if they want me to regrind that stuff every couple of months. And also, the LL grind is absolutely pointless, uninspired, and off-putting gatekeeping. It’s excessive. And before you start, I really don’t wanna hear from people whose full time job is to play this game. You are so not representative of the community. So no. Most people don’t have the time or can be asked to run Encore 80 times. It’s a ridiculous suggestion that this is a reasonable requirement. So don’t get me started on that. Thanks.
