Ok, now THAT I can get behind. I have found it is possible to even play a few games during the same time period. I can play Destiny AND Dragon Age! WOAH! As for No Man's Sky, in theory, I think it will be awesome. In reality, I am pretty damn sure it wont be for me. I do not do well with "explore" games.

sorry to hear that...i LOVE exploration games...as long as they're not boring. i used to spend hours (in between the all too frequent crashes) just wandering around, exploring the capital wasteland in fallout 3...so many interesting things to see.. i wanna go back and replay Halo: Reach, and the Mass Effect series, but it would take away from my Destiny time, and i'm afraid i won't want to be bothered once i'm done with them.. good thing the expansion releases next week..

Well Mass Effect, you are speakin my language. I found in most exploration games, I was just bored. Since you mentioned, for me, Mass Effect 2 had the perfect exploration/open vs structure to keep me moving along. For me, "this planet is different" is not motivation to play. I also saw some space ship combat stuffs, which is not really my bag either. But hey, I have been wrong before...

yeah, they made a lot of changes between the first and second games....the most noticeable being the switch from internal heat sinks to removable ones, which facilitated a "mag change"..apparently, this was a change forced by EA, because they wanted the series to be more action oriented... it's one of those things i'm still not sure if i like or not....also, i miss the MAKO, and actual planet exploration. meh. anyways, i've always been a big fan of space combat sims. this is like the thing i've been waiting for..ground, and space, and it appears to be not shit, like a Derek Smart game, lol

I am more excited for this game not for me to play, as aforementioned I know I will be bored. But what it might do is make other game designers take notice and offer more to other games going forward. I think this game can break some very real ground and provide mechanics that others must use to compete. Or I could be wrong and the hype covers up the "diversity" as nothing more than database entries put together, BAM world. Now shoot stuff.

i dunno, this looks legit...i've seen it in action, and read a lot about it...it looks like the real deal. also, i'm a kickstarter backer for "Amplitude"....i'll be having that when it comes out, as well, lol so many good games in 2015....
