No Man's Sky is going to destroy Destiny
That is all.
EDIT - I was watching an interview with the developers and they said that the game will not have a story/specific character. It is merely exploration. I did not know this at the time that I made this post but STILL. this game honestly looks like it has potential.

The reality is Destiny is just a fad like every popular game that preceded it it will die when something novel and "better" comes along and in this day and age something "better" always does but that doesn't mean you enjoy it in your own way for the time being. I know this sounds contradictory but don't let others decide your preferences for you. If you really like playing Destiny then keep playing it, once it becomes boring then leave it behind, but don't ruin the experience for everyone else, that's kist dick-ish

1 답변How can you say that you didn't know the game was exploration based at the time of the post and believe that you are now (or were ever) in a position to say that it would destroy Destiny? All this post says to future readers is "I went full retard and you should all ridicule me as much as you can in the comments". If I did something this stupid, I'd replace the post body with "***EDIT - I found out I'm an opinionated, spoiled f**king brat, and I chose to remove this post so I don't cause further people to have aneurisms."

What about all the other games that were supposed to "destroy" Destiny? This is seriously the 7th one of these "X game is coming out and is going to destroy Destiny" posts that I've seen since Destiny's release. It's still here and there are still a lot of Guardians in the tower and in the worlds when I play. Doesn't seem too dead to me.

1 답변No... ...and for the same reason that the MCC and Civilization: Beyond Earth didn't "destroy" Destiny. They appeal to different kinds of gamers. No Man's Sky strikes me as EVE Online shrunk down to fit on a console.

4 답변Minecraft had no story except that which you make for yourself, and it sold for 2.5 billion US dollars. NMS will be truly awesome if they just give you enough tools to make your own fun.
