I have tried really hard to keep a positive attitude. But I don't play a game because its "Popular" and then try to tell myself its "Fun". Likewise I tend to avoid things like this game's "loot cave" and object when the Devs nerf the overall drop rate because someone else (besides me) has found an exploit. Along the very same line of reasoning I object to the Devs nerfing the Auto Rifle in PvE because someone was complaining about it in PvP. So I'm calm... I'm just not happy with the progress this game is making up till now.
Now you drop the old "straw man" (World of Warcraft) on us to justify some notion that "nothing can be Perfect". Well of course nothing is "perfect"! But please don't use WoW to justify Bungie's poor performance. First off: WoW was a turd from the beginning. But, at the time, no one had a good idea of how to keep that many people online reliably. And that can't be said today. Plenty of other MMOs have opened their doors in the last few years and they've raised our collective expectations.
This is my take on the situation. This game was over hyped! And I bought into it because it was supposed to be Bungie. Well now I know that these guys probably aren't even the same people that did Halo. They're just a bunch of second rate coders that got hired to fill the seats at a company that had made a name for itself. And it shows!
So am I going to try and make the best of it? Yeah I am! But there are lots of other games that I can play. So eventually if Bungie keeps it up lots of people like me will just stop playing Destiny. And those of you who stay will just have to hope there are enough players left to do the various content. Seriously I'm not going to be here to complain anymore.
I'll be having "Fun" somewhere else...

The changes devs made are all reasonable and haven't impacted my gameplay so I don't understand why people are complaining still. The only major problem I have with destiny is lack of content. The expansion is in December so hopefully they learn a lot by then. Everyone wants to criticize because they are impatient though

Okay...bye. You made a ill-informed purchase, and its apparently "BUNGIE'S" FAULT!!! Seriously?!?!?! This game had a huge social media campaign, and TWO public betas. If you failed to take advantage of any of this, then that is your fault. I played the beta, and wound up with the game that I was expecting.

No. The nature of advertising is that the person or company is trying to SELL you something. Which means----with even the most ETHICAL of sellers----they are going to describe their product in a way that presents it in its BEST possible light. They will play up its good qualities, and downplay/ignore potential problems. So to expect any advertising to protray a product with 100% accuracy is simply naive. Which is why---if you are spending any amount of money that is dear to you----you NEED TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK. You need to dig around...get past the media messaging...and find out for yourself if the product is a good fit for you. Like in my case....I have NO PLANS at all to buy Assassin's Creed Unity. Despite how hard Ubisoft and the gaming media is pushing this game. I won't buy The Division wihout getting a chance to beta test it first. Again, despite the media push. Why? Because EVERY Ubisoft game I've ever played has had control issues that made them a pain to try to play. At best they were clunky. At worst they were downright uncontrollable. But I'm not lighting up Ubisofts website with complaints. I'm exercising the greatest power that a consumer has in the marketplace in dealing with companies that fail to deliver quality products: I'M KEEPING MY WALLET CLOSED....and spending my money with their competitors.

You make fair points, but I'm going to take a different angle in my approach. I still enjoy the game, what makes me not enjoy it is reading on these forums. So my aim for the next months is to read the updates and forget about clicking on the comments. That just leads me here and wastes an hour of my day.
