Calm down.... Yeah I said it... this is a game that will get better over time. I have 214 hours on the game and sure there's things that I could say needed fixed asap but it really is just a game... It will never be perfect just look at games like "wow" it didn't start off perfect and still isn't. The updates will get better... Read that again slowly and take a breath... Bungie created a great game and is learning as they go along. At least we have it today instead of a year or two from now. Once again. Stop the nerd rage and just have fun playing, everyone's so addicted to grinding out the best gear that they want to complain when something goes wrong like a spoiled little girl. One more time. Stop losing sight that this game is made to have fun.

That includes climbing trees, looking at every lovely detail Bungie has put in the games, kicking the purple ball on top of the fan in the Tower above the post office, and trampoline with it, "weeeeee!". There is a lot of honest criticism and disappointment on the forums, most of us are not raging out, many of us are not 14 years old and have been following Bungie since way back when. I have loved Bungie's work so far. The story does not fly, I tried to make excuses as well, the writing and delivery was dismal. None of the characters we encountered are interesting, developed or engaging. They all could have been. Don't tell me to wait. Don't tell me to read a dictionary online. This was the introduction to Bungie's opus to leave us wanting more, much more. I am truly uninterested in the story.
everyone's so addicted to grinding out the best gear
I don't have time to grind and do not enjoy it. That is a question of taste though. Why didn't they introduce some variety in the missions (Sword of Crota?). To balance the wide variety of gamers Bungie was trying to appeal to, a good story would have worked for many.
Stop losing sight that this game is made to have fun.
Totally agree, and if I ever could forgive certain flaws in a game, this is the game I would have picked. Bungie has developed my favorite franchise and was my introduction to gaming. The visuals, Marty's music, and the game mechanics are truly enjoyable, for a while. We all hope certain things will improve in the future. Unfortunately, they lifted the curtain and introduced us to a game Bungie themselves hyped to the max. We were left watching the actors' rehearsal instead of the play we came to see and were told to expect more in the future. Let's hope the performance will improve with Act II. Edit: Typos galore...

14 답변Well, no. Bungie created a pretty game worth $35 that has almost no content other than, "do exactly what you did in the 10-hour campaign, just over and over." Two mildly interesting characters. A world ripe with ambiguity. And just a lot of nice graphics. That's what we have. That's the reality of it. So much wasted potential. Unless you want to shell out another $80+. Who's to say that each expansion won't simply be one additional strike, each? There's a pattern, here.

1 답변I think the people who make it their calling to defend this piece of Shit, utter disappointment, excuse of a game, must either be PR Hacks hired by Bungie to try and save their lazy asses, or the kind of people who remember fondly the time their Uncles put his Dick in their Asses. Sorry, if the rest of us don't get off on being Abused! : )

4 답변작성자: LegendSlayer77 10/23/2014 5:17:48 PM.... No. When a game is released its expected that it's ready to play, and won't be full of the gaping holes that destiny is filled with. Right now the game is not worth the money spent on it. That's not how games are supposed to be. Bungie should have been better prepared by the release date, and CERTAINLY should not be making the mistakes they are

9 답변Bungie is telling us nonstop actually. Look at all the news articles on Kotaku, Gamestop, Forbes. The problem is in the title of the post. Is that Bungie is constantly defending their game. There are a ton of reputable sites that gave Destiny very bad reviews. And every time Bungie makes a mistake like Iron Banner for example, they come out and TELL US how we are misjudging the game. Yes they are telling us nonstop, just to defend their game. I understand the need to do that, but as a creative company. They should stop doing that because it makes them look weak in the customers eyes. I think that Deej and Destiny marketing team, needs to understand that silence is golden. If you listen to all the crybabies, it will be bad for your health. You cannot please them all. Just do your creative best, and flesh out your vision of the game that you meant to make. Stop letting the critics get under your skin. The game is great the way it is. But please don't make drastic nerfs to everyone's favorite weapons, as that takes away from your creative vision.

66 답변Big, new games have that many flaws and bugs because there are people like you.. In my opinion gamers should be way less tolerant when it comes to obviously way too early released games. Everybody knows that there cannot be a perfect game, but each and every gamer that is complaining, no matter how he or she expresses it, wants Destiny to be the best game it can possibly be! Not complaining doesn't make any game better. Also, I think that most of the complaining players actually have fun with Destiny and enjoy it and they complain in order to make a good game great to have even more fun!

1 답변Bungie sucks and the game Although anticipation for Destiny prior to release was at an all-time high, it didn’t take long for players to realize that what developer Bungie promised and what they ended up delivering were not one in the same. Specific components of the purported sprawling open world and epic story were there, but what was initially thought to be a deep MMO-like experience quickly turned into a disappointing grind fest. Since launch however, Bungie has done well to keep Destiny players happy by regular patching in useful features (like a less confusing loot system) and patching out more problematic ones. But most of these patches have been focused on the micro – slightly changing the make-up of Destiny without drastically impacting the experience. Which leaves us to wonder: where are the patches that actually improve the game? While we don’t have any clear-cut answers as to how Bungie could make Destiny more enjoyable or less grindy, there are still areas that need attention. Bungie themselves even acknowledged that the game’s Strike missions are improperly balanced, with players taking and enemies dealing more damage than normal. Destiny Loot Cave Removed But it’s been several weeks since Bungie revealed that the Strikes were imbalanced and so far they have done nothing to change that. As someone who regularly runs strikes (Nightfall, Weekly Heroic, Vanguard Tiger), it would be nice to have the proper experience with them. As it stands, Strikes feel like overly grindy experiences where bosses suck up damage and can dispatch a full fireteam with only a few shots. In the Nightfall – where various modifiers are in play – that’s fine, but an average Strike should not take that long to complete. Things get complicated when you consider that Bungie has already released several patches and hotfixes for Destiny – patches whose sole focus is on taking certain things away from the player. They killed the loot cave. They made the Queen’s Wrath event practically useless. And just this week they told Vex Mythoclast owners that their hard-earned weapon was too strong. Destiny Vex Mythoclast Now, patches like these are fine in the grand scheme of things, even expected, but not when their focus is solely on nerfing the game. Players want to see their game get better as patches roll out, not watch as the developer says, “You’re not playing our game right,” or, “You don’t understand what we’re going for.” But so far that’s all Bungie seems to be telling players.

17 답변I have tried really hard to keep a positive attitude. But I don't play a game because its "Popular" and then try to tell myself its "Fun". Likewise I tend to avoid things like this game's "loot cave" and object when the Devs nerf the overall drop rate because someone else (besides me) has found an exploit. Along the very same line of reasoning I object to the Devs nerfing the Auto Rifle in PvE because someone was complaining about it in PvP. So I'm calm... I'm just not happy with the progress this game is making up till now. Now you drop the old "straw man" (World of Warcraft) on us to justify some notion that "nothing can be Perfect". Well of course nothing is "perfect"! But please don't use WoW to justify Bungie's poor performance. First off: WoW was a turd from the beginning. But, at the time, no one had a good idea of how to keep that many people online reliably. And that can't be said today. Plenty of other MMOs have opened their doors in the last few years and they've raised our collective expectations. This is my take on the situation. This game was over hyped! And I bought into it because it was supposed to be Bungie. Well now I know that these guys probably aren't even the same people that did Halo. They're just a bunch of second rate coders that got hired to fill the seats at a company that had made a name for itself. And it shows! So am I going to try and make the best of it? Yeah I am! But there are lots of other games that I can play. So eventually if Bungie keeps it up lots of people like me will just stop playing Destiny. And those of you who stay will just have to hope there are enough players left to do the various content. Seriously I'm not going to be here to complain anymore. I'll be having "Fun" somewhere else...
