Why dont we just.....play the game because we enjoy it? Why do we need a roadmap?

If the game has no concrete future why would anyone buy into it when it could simply shutdown tomorrow? The lack of communication isn't helping and the fact they cannot even simply say "roadmap is still being worked on" speaks volumes to what is happening. As for playing the game because players enjoy it... that is what people are doing but simply enjoying a live service game that recieves barely any new content and updates isn't going to get players logging in daily or weekly to play the game.

작성자: xbroggiex 2/4/2026 6:30:50 PMYou did ask why "we" need a roadmap. I'm just stating why "we" need a roadmap. You can certainly just play the game because you feel like it, but that doesn't keep live service games running. Live services need constant communication and plans, they aren't cheap or easy to do. The current sentiment of the game isn't great and silence about updates or fixes to the game isn't helping. If people don't currently like the state of the game they are now waiting on communication and the promised roadmap to outline the fixes and updates Bungie plans to make. If Bungie doesn't do that eventually people stop giving a crap.

Because I don't enjoy it right now and I want to see if the roadmap is going to address literally any of it. Yeknow, the thing they've done the entire time they've made Destiny? The whole, we have changes coming TWID/TWABs? Why wouldn't ask for a roadmap they already promised months ago?

You can't act like you run Bungie, because this literally goes in the face of years of Bungie saying "Keep the feedback coming." I'll admit some of the feedback has made its way in, albeit delayed. So I will keep giving my feedback, as I'm allowed to as a customer who is willing to become a customer again if the right things change. You telling people to remain silent is how franchise stagnate and die. We have too many years of evidence for you to bury your head in the dirt and act like you're correct.

You know that D3 leak, that was marketing for renegades. It gave people a future to buy into, I knew this straight away, I expected the usual marketing of pc gamer doing an article saying bungie sue cheat maker for 18 billion, but they went with d3 in early development. Seen numerous people recently saying they bought renegades bcoz of the d3 news. There's absolutely no way d3 is in development It won't change anyone's experience right now, of course, but it gives players a future to buy into, rather than the current hollow feeling of why am I bothering if it's ending soon potentially. & remember, no one would expect a multi year roadmap if bungie hadn't said 4-5 months ago multi year roadmap coming soon, then said at Xmas coming new year, & they've gone totally silent to the point dmg mr tweetaholic has disappeared. People are frustrated.
