There's a cheese you can do that activates the catalyst run, but won't activate the timer. When you go to shoot the four blights, shoot only 3 of them, then wait like 30 seconds or a good minute, then shoot the fourth. You need to be standing at the top of where you drop down when you eventually shoot the fourth, then drop immediately afterwards. I'm not sure if that's absolutely required though. You should get the message on the bottom of your screen but there won't be any timer. It worked for me for the hyperblade catalyst at least. Hopefully they haven't patched this out already, and won't ever, but I'd try it quickly just in case. Enjoy!
