I have been here before and I have seen this post before. It’s like a reoccurring theme or thought that keeps popping up.
Armchair development? Backseat driver? Basement dwelling Business expert? Go touch grass? Go make your own game?
Don’t tell me what to do? It’s a private company and can do whatever it wants? Idk
What’s the standard pfo responses?? Not my problem people don’t like whatever about my product or service.
Can’t make everyone happy, may as well make the executives happy. Profit over poverty as they always say. I’m not making $500,000 at an entry level dev position then I can’t afford to live!
Huh? Wow. As far as my bona fides go, yeah, I've served in a pretty broad array of roles within the industry, including software tester, developer, trainer, team coach to enterprise coach, and assorted product/project/program/portfolio management roles. I've supported teams of 5 people to organizations of 5,000, spoken to bar room-sized meetup groups and convention center-sized conferences. I know a few things, but I don't why I'm bothering replying to you.
Yes, Bungie can do whatever they'd like. Duh. 🤣 But most companies who ignore their customers and the user experience, and those that spend years developing products before they begin generating any cashflow, are less likely to survive, let alone thrive. Whether Bungie cares or not, yep, you're right; not my problem.
Because we have all encountered the corporate standard PR pfo responses.
I’m just basically just putting out the automated responses because we’re not content creators so Bungie for the most part will give us these responses or at least make these remarks back in the studio.
Getting Pfo responses from bungie is the most common thing nowadays. The marketing team or content creators hold all power regarding feedback.
I agree with you btw. Just don’t expect the corporation to descend from their ivory towers to listen to you or any of us common nobodies.
