Maybe too easy. Maybe another formulas will work better ro keep the essence of an elite loot, but a little bit accesible. For example:
- A weekly contract that grants one adept for a number of total wins (with no need to be frawless) maybe 7, 9 or so. Or make the lighthouse reacheable every 5 levels of xp. Glory cant be free, but not too expensive than dont worth the pain.
- A sort of consumible (plus regular XP) that allows decode engrams for osiris into adepts engrams with a mayor cost.
- keep freelance as a permanent option. The frawless pool its a must too. No need to be a free sparring for elite playeres (If they are)
The fact is the tech issues (for a world wide game its an insult the absolute lack of care in this level), tryhard population(maybe there is a little pro gamer base, but anybody knows that cheats are used in many ways, deny that its imposible), the difference between plattforms, and use of external devices are killong pvp, becouse:
1) makes too difficult to the average player get a clean game, because the casual average player are sparrings.
2) increase the frustation and drops this game player number to historical minimums.
Result: the most give up and run away from any pvp mode, or even the most avid collector plays to get new loot and say goodbye. The main focus should to buildt a fair, balanced play, and increse the number of players. Increase the offer, and more players will come.

How is that fair? Imagine if PvE in this game changed because PvP players didn’t wanna learn raid mechanics so Bungie makes it so theres a easy “skip mechanic” button. Or how about disabling limited revives in GMs? Even after all the slaughtering PvE players have demanded on the mode they still ask for more.

You can disagree, of course... but i think that: 1)the freelance make posible to mix experienced with newbies or not so skilled players so, it contributes to balance the difference between teams. Only the fact that is less probably find unreacheable pro teams of 3, its better in terms of chance to win and motivation. Just see statics when it has been activated. 2) the pool take apart invincible teams that are capable to win and break the opponent pass one and another time, so gives a chance to others. If so skilled are the pros, shouldnt be afraid to play people of his own level. Fight with one of your size, is simple. Obviouly, if the motivation to play its sell carrys, recovs, or play with people much less skilled to feel better, its fine as it is. Personally i dont need nothing more from trials, just theorize about the state of the game in terms of design, number of players and global satisfaction of the community. I dont mind if trials and all the crucible are closed today...

I'm kinda on the fence for freelance since it does offer more cons. But in the end it just feels like a slot machine to roll the better teammates each game to me. Flawless and non flawless pool will just have good players win resetting, or resetting after 6 wins to play for Stats in the non flawless pool. And genuine players will most likely only play 1 card on Sunday that way.

My idea of a frawless pool dont depend on the victory in pass, if you get a lighthouse you should keep playing with same skill players, the best factical skill based matchmaking posible. The six victory and restart the pass will prevent the play to carry, and recov, that its a good news foe the state of play. About the balance of the teams, if you have a bit of skill, you even can contribute more or less. Its rare see a random team with a 20 kills top one and a 1-3 kills for the worst player (not imposible, i have played a few ones). Another big problem (that cant be fixed, its too late i think) its to the net advantage /handicap that its a tradition in this game. I hope for servers in a future Destiny iteration.
