I will say they have great people who are excellent at what they do designing it, they have a massive budget, have dedicated servers, have a team to handle anti cheat on board and it looks stunning on a visual level.
Bungie has had some extremely successful franchises so I’d think Marathon will be as well but it’s a bit early to condemn it or think it will be ground breaking.
I’ll wait and see game play but it absolutely has my attention.

I mean that is what people were trying to pass off with D2 base game before it was released and it turned out to be a disaster that lost 80% of its player base and the game has been struggling since then. The question stands, are they still using their outdated engine from 2001 that has caused a mass amount of issues in this game?

작성자: TheShadow 6/5/2023 3:51:32 PMYeah, 343 did the same things with Halo Infinite, used the devs to sell it, and guess what? Microsoft asked the fans if they wanted the game to be shut down or not because it was that bad. Sorry, "hype" is not proof. It's only wissful thinking.

You asked for evidence of who’s running the show so I shared it. They have a solid track record. It’s impossible to tell if it will be good or not without seeing game play. If it has solid anti cheat, dedicated servers and similar gunplay to D2, it will make them a bundle. That’s if.

Solid track record? They admitted Halo was a complete fluke, added last second after a vote (4v3), & were amazed it took off. Many shunned it, & it was only on Xbox, for me & many others it was dull, the inability to ads killed it, & the newer releases have been laughed at, clunky as hell. I'm sure it was decent 20 years ago if it was your thing but for many it wasn't. Then destiny PvP, am absolute joke since day 1 in 2014. That's not a track record I want any part of.

You don’t pay and you don’t play a lot bro. That’s fine but it’s kind of difficult to read you go on about the game and bash it constantly when you get to play free and most of the things you bash is content you haven’t played. If you don’t like it then don’t play it.

When the game doesn't give me a reason to pay, let alone pay? I can hit 1800 tomorrow or the day after but for what? Or what weapon that isn't the same gun but in different color? I can even say a modern shooter like Warface has more variety than destiny that it's not funny [quote]If you don’t like it then don’t play it.[/quote] The same pattern I've seen a few years ago. Isn't that bungie's job to make the game overall interesting to play as looter shooter instead of "don't play it"?

I’m not saying that as if you don’t belong but I am saying life is too short to be upset over a video game constantly. You regularly post negative things about a game you don’t pay for and barely play. If you ever do buy content I’d run anything you want to help you level up. Maybe try Diablo 4? Totally different game but well worth playing.

If I’m not having fun I will move onto new gaming horizons. Too many act as if this game is the most negative thing that’s ever happened to them. To hold a view like that and constantly post negative things says more about the person than it does about the game. It’s a game not a life choice.

It’s all about perspective and understanding that games are fun but they aren’t life altering. Although if your 12 it’s then understandable haha. Enjoy your day man.

I've already said it, give me Tex Mechanica double barrel shotgun and I'll happily play even if it's a sloppy shotgun. That's how you make stuff interesting, add some variety instead of the same gun but in different casings and colors

Games really old at this point and well past anyone’s vision of a life span. I care more about new perks and origin traits these days. Which they’re doing a great job with. Like I said if you ever decide to level up etc and play through newer content HMU. Try out Diablo 4. It’s really good and you can go on forum and be happy bro.

And I'm in agreement with the milking thing too. This game used to have things to play for in general. Now it's all watered down and reissued with the majority of fun things shoved into Everworse . I understand that Bungo are in the business to make money from this game and I'm honestly all for it, but that shouldn't come at the cost of the players enjoyment or for things to do. At this point there is no saving Destiny from what it once was, that time has long past and I'm kinda sad that it's gone the way it has.
