They threw this game in the trash for me.
I was just getting back into it really hard too.
I was loving it. These changes are gonna make it feel like CoD with a splash of the rare ability again.
That's the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted to see more ability up time but more counterplay and interaction. Less very powerful abilities. More abilities with low/no cooldown and a focus on context with lower overall damage.
I'd even be ok with a bit higher weapon TTK to allow for higher ability kill TTK, but then removing most cooldowns or making them very low with a focus on them having some context to bring used.. Like sprinting and being dangerous or having some kind of charge up...
Or just a mild cool down.
I just want abilities to be up for most encounters as they would make sense for the potency and counterability of the tool.
These changes simply make all abilities a little splash on a long cooldown, except for a few Hunter ones like the already OP one hit kill throwing knives that can reset their cooldown.... And who have the best jump and class ability already.
I don't know what Bungie was think with these changes, except that they don't care about this game feeling like anything unique at all.
