Why was the Drifter in the Tower when he was literally trying to hide from the Vanguard? The answer is Gameplay > Lore. It would have made more sense for the Drifter and Ada to be located in the Farm, but Bungie wants all the primary vendors to be in one single location.

Yes, I understand why Ada is in the Tower from a logistical standpoint. I just wish they would’ve attempted to explain it, like they did with the Drifter. The game explains to you that the Drifter has a deal with the Vanguard, and it’s mentioned several times in-game that no one in the Tower trusts him and part of the reason they allow him to stay is so they can keep an eye on him.
