Is there any kind of explanation I’m unaware of as to how the Black Armory is in the Tower? It was built before the Collapse, when the Tower/Last City didn’t even exist yet. Unless I’m missing something, this is one of the most egregious examples of laziness on Bungie’s part.

2 답변I remember thinking this but actually I think the implication is that Niobe Labs was where it was originally and only moved to inside the walls as a last resort by its last living member.

Ada-1 moved the Black Armory to the tower. She still dislikes The Risen(Guardians) mostly as they killed the humans who ran the Black Armory to include her family that created her. The Black Armory created its very own experimental Exo frame, of which a human's consciousness was transferred to in the creation of Ada-1, the only known Black Armory prototype Exo, and sole remaining member of the Armory.

6 답변Easy, the D2 Tower isn’t actually one of the proper Towers. The Black Armoury was actually just hidden in some tiny part of the City Wall that would barely saw the light of day had we not spoken to the Spider and had him offer Ada-1 our services. Seriously, compare the size of Ada’s small workshop to the entirety of the wall surrounding the city and it might become obvious how a single Exo who doesn’t have to eat or sleep might be able to make a secret chamber.

6 답변The Black Armory as an organization/corporation has existed since the Golden Age. Ada, the last living member of the family who created the organization has moved that organization into the Tower. They haven’t always been in that location. Listen to dialogue and lore cards and your environment, people. Don’t be like this guy. Think about things.

11 답변The association known as the black armor existed during the Golden age It's last living member has made their base of operations within the walls How do people have such a hard time with this? We literally go to their old lab in the final forge

The Black Armory was founded before the Collapse iirc, but the brand itself was never restricted to a single location so the city's existence after BA's foundation is a non-factor. As for how it's within the Tower specifically, that part is indeed unclear and hasn't really been explained. I'd like to think that a combination of Spider's connections, and probably previous Vanguard negligence, allowed Ada to set up inside the wall.

2 답변Though it’s explained in the lore, if you don’t read it I can see how this is strange, the bigger question is how Ada remained undetected when we were so close for so long.

3 답변I still don't understand why we are losing the forge. Ada is at the tower, the forges launch from orbit around EDZ... plus we are not losing Nessus. If its about file size, okay, but I can't imagine the forges taking up too much data to keep.

4 답변Why was the Drifter in the Tower when he was literally trying to hide from the Vanguard? The answer is Gameplay > Lore. It would have made more sense for the Drifter and Ada to be located in the Farm, but Bungie wants all the primary vendors to be in one single location.

4 답변<The Black Armory isn't a place, it's a company(?). The vaults were placed around the planet and forges were placed on other items like the Exodus program. As for the hideout in the wall... I mean... no one goes there. Not only is it the center of the human populous, it's also the most protected area on the entire planet. Of course she'd make the wall her hideout.>
