Sun setting, just so we can reacquire the same gear, leads me to believe that lack of content could be an issue.

The only reason for sunsetting and removing content, is to reintroduce it at a later date as 'news activities and rewards. I've enjoyed the game a lot, well really just the Forsaken year, and thank God Cyberpunk is out around the same time so im definitely not tempted to buy.
