As a titan main, I 100% agree with you. There is no counter to antaeus wards. A fight between equally skilled players would pretty much always be won by the AW player. And beyond that shooting them gives them super energy. They are definitely broken. Problem is I don't see how bungie will be able to nerf them without making them useless. We all know they are incapable of bringing back chip damage without also bringing back the glitch which 1-shots you from any chip damage.

But your a titan using them so its just whos better with a shotgun. Play against them without them and then you’ll see what its like. Its not impossible to counter, especially with bad players but any okay player with somewhat awareness frags so heavily because of the exotic

And I can hardly understand what you’re trying to say

I don’t crutch it lol, I use them skillfully. Deflecting supers and stuff isn’t easy, it requires anticipation and being able to predict the enemy. Only those that can’t even use them beyond shotgun rushing call them crutches
-
No. No it doesn’t 😂 Sliding corners to push angles, sliding supers when they are in range, sliding sniper lanes to dump bullets and tank their shots... The “skill gap” is slide corners to start engagements. Only those who crutch it call it skillful...

Since when was pvp ever meant to be played without exotics? Crutches? You people talk like this is some comp e sport. If you can’t handle Destiny pvp as it is without making community rules for gentlemanly combat....you suck at Destiny pvp. Period.

Again, ignoring my point. Competitive games were designed to be balanced. From Day 1 of design making. Destiny pvp was never designed to be balanced. Because each classes is meant to fill a role against ai enemies, they were not designed to fight each other. Why do you think they watered down base D2 so much? That was the best they could do given the constraints they placed on themselves. They were never designed for fighting against each other. Crucible was sold as a chaotic bananas game. The content drought during D1 is what made pvp more then that. They would have to really rework a ton of foundational design with D3 to balance pvp and it would likely kill pve without separation.

Destiny is designed to be whatever the devs want it to be and the fact that they are trying to balance proves you’re wrong. PvP can be chaotic and balanced. But in no game is full immunity while still being able to attack a good idea. Competitive or not...

False. They do some balancing, doesn’t mean it can or should be done to 100% fair and balanced. You’re making an all or nothing argument when Bungie has clearly been far from that. So you actually proved yourself wrong. They do enough to keep it reasonably fair. Because, like you said, if they really wanted too...they could completely redesign it to be fair regardless of the pve impact. They don’t. The closest was base D2 and people complained and left until they fixed it. So by Bungies own actions, pvp balance isn’t the primary concern. When they did something that looked like they were doing that, the negative feedback was enough to make them change. The pvpcenteic feedback hasn’t. So that proves I’m right. Destiny is designed to be pvpcenteic. Sorry but facts be facts.
