Antaeus Wards are Extremely Oppressive.
At least with OEM in close proximity I could trade still. With the wards , my fusion not only is nullified , but reflected at me constantly ? Lol.
I usually have a high tolerance for some of the decisions in this game, but this decision is unreal. It feels even worse than juggernaut in d1. Makes me not want to play at all .

They WILL get nerfed.. I am 100% certain about that. My proposed change: - Allow Chip Damage(what it was before SoW update) - Protected from the front only - Sliding now takes a bit of Barricade energy but the Wards shield now works with Class Ability mods - Cooldown is increased to 3 seconds. - Has a visual cooldown indicator above on the HUD. (We need more of these)

3 답변Man this community really just doesn’t change. Anything that is used often gets cried out for nerfs instead of figuring out a counter. Maybe a cooldown on it, but if you’re having trouble countering it then that’s on you.

18 답변Put them on and see how “easy” they are to use. If a guy is consistently deflecting your shots then I’m sorry, but he’s going to kill you with or without them bc that’s mastery right there. I’ve been using them forever and it’s so easy to tell who just slapped them on and who’s put the hours in with them like some of us have. All through forsaken and past seasons with them being bugged, giving us time to perfect the timing of when to deploy a shield or how far away to start sliding knowing when that shield will proc. I know when to slide on an opponent with a shotgun or a fusion bc I know shotgun kill distance and fusion charge rate to deploy my shield at the right time or distance and pick up the kill. I know how long after until I can slide again to deploy a shield. Every class has broken stuff that enhances the positives of the class, titans are the tanks and the apes of guardians and this exotic is the essence of titans.

23 답변Bungie always has to give titans freebies in Pvp. People complain about hunters lol. Oh know they can go “invisible even though you still see them and they have triple jumps lol. But both titans and warlocks have faster jumps lol. Garbage.

A fight between equally skilled players would pretty much always be won by the AW player. And beyond that shooting them gives them super energy. They are definitely broken. Problem is I don't see how bungie will be able to nerf them without making them useless. We all know they are incapable of bringing back chip damage without also bringing back the glitch which 1-shots you from any chip damage.

I see the titan mains are out in force downvoting your post. Everything else is OP, handheld supernova was OP because of its ease of use and when paired with an exotic, made a play style top easy for everyone while removing almost all risk. Sound familiar? That's right. Antaeus Wards do exactly that but to a further extent, they reduce the damage you take to 0. The time frame isn't long but that's kinda irrelevant when you pair these exotics with a shotgun or fusion rifle. You slide and win, if someone shoots you with hard light, they'll pretty much kill themselves without your help. These exotics take all the risk of shotgunning out of the equation, not that there's much right now anyway. Shotgun aping is already pathetic but you throw on the ez mode exotic and you win. Hell you can slide ans rocket someone point blank and take 0 damage, I had that done once or twice in Iron Banner. Perfectly balanced. If these exotics are balanced, so was HHSN.

3 답변This exotic has been in the game for over a year. I have been using it almost every game with my Titan when it first came out and there have been zero complaints. Fast forward to today where all they did was make you unable to kill yourself when using it and Youtubers/streamers are saying it’s OP and now the sheep on here are echoing their words. This happens every single time.

5 답변Bungie isn't capable to balance a exotic without breaking the game, a exotic should give you a exotic advantage not make you invencible, nothing can kill you while that perk is on, a perk that doesn't require a cool down (they say it has a cool down but I see them sliding sliding and sliding). Instead of making you invincible it should give them more resistance but still encounterable, It's basically the same as the damn batteries from the hunters (those batteries are also super OP). All titans will say these boots are not OP bc they use them!, the same hunters said about the batteries. Is not about a YouTuber making a video which I haven't watched yet, that exotic is being abused bc is OP the same happens with HardLight, everybody uses it (including me) because is OP! The fun is finished when you have to switch to hard light bc the other team is spamming it... Ah I almost forgot, the exotic encourage you to slide slide and slide so that way your 100% of intellect is now 150%... this is bs.

23 답변It’s so sad that people will just deflect the idea with “x is more used because it’s on a different class.” Think about it like this, if Antaeus Wards were on another class, do you really think they’d use anything but Antaeus Wards? It’s just kinda pathetic that we can’t talk about something that is blatantly overpowered with 360 degree invulnerability for half a second (in a game where pretty much everything kills near that time) and grants bonus super energy just for the enemy playing the game (how do you predict someone is going to slide? They can do it whenever. No, them sprinting right at you is not a requirement, you can tap sprint and crouch and still slide). It doesn’t matter if Hunters have x or Warlocks have y, Antaeus is blatantly overpowered. Ask for better neutral game, buffs to other exotics, or whatever but Antaeus has got to go.

Everyone crying about the one decent titan exotic, meanwhile hunters getting back invis dodge disorient nades smoke after every 10 seconds with enhanced tracker. Oh they're not that tree, ok then constant skip nade spamming...
