This is how you make everyone happy and fair. You create trials legend and trials heroic. Each week we are in trials heroic. If you go flawless and get trials flawless legend emblem you are moved to trials heroic for that weekend. In legend the weapons only get the trials perk if you go flawless. The guns are shaded gold. When playing in the heroic version, all weapons have the trials perk and are shaded black. If you go flawless in heroic, the weapon will have additional perk options in column 3 &4 with the trials perk. The heroic weapon will also be shaded platinum. Now people will say not enough players, that is bull. Why? If casual players know the can get three wins without facing top players all weekend, more will play. In this system, to go heroic flawless, everyteam or player you meet must be flawless. Now we actually have an elite flawless trophy.
Your are not elite if you win two
or three games facing non elite or non flawless players. This is fair and balanced.

It took you all of say, 20 minutes?, to think about the problems and come up with a workable solution for Trials....yet Bungie has had 6 yrs (including the year off) and they still haven't followed that yet? PvP competitions aren't new nor are tiered ranks, how is this so complicated?

I was a project manager in the gaming business few years back. Every activity you design has to be inclusive. Trials in d1 did in the sense you could never win a match or a round but still get gear and weapons. Your time is rewarded. Not now. They have valor and glory, not understanding why same setup not used. The current design, in my opinion, is not an elite accomplishment. You are only elite when going flawless against elite flawless players or teams only. The heroic flawless pushes the best to always play the best and not farm legendary trials which is what youtubers are now telling players to do. The legendary trials allows a training ground for players to achieve success and to learn the in and outs of trials and how to win. The current design will run its course in 3 weeks. Only people left will be sweats farming the weapons which mean average Joe is essentially locked out of an entire game mode. Same issue with raids. Easy mode to get you through and understand how to play it. Then hard mode for the adept. Games should be made for all levels of play. When Activision left, I knew things would get worse not better. Less money, staff and studios. Why the community thought it would be better is beyond me.

작성자: Fr8mchine 3/25/2020 5:32:02 PMThats........actually a really good idea. Although what about those who token farm, going to 3 wins then reset? I feel like they should do something for that. Because those people are absolute sweat lords dumping on casuals/ not skilled players and it contradicts even getting past 3 wins in the first place.

This^. I wonder what bungie was doing for almost a year "innovating on the trials system and rigorously testing." What a load of bullshit. If they were testing they would have implemented something like this, not a copy paste d1 trials that's actually worse than it was back then (no adept, less loot, etc. etc.).

Great idea .....it would definitely keep a good player pool of new and players that wouldn’t want to play trials.....i played trials in d1 only 2 times....didn’t go flawless i wouldn’t mind going flawless just once in d2...
