A few workarounds:
• Try fast-traveling to the same zone
• Walk away from the Obelisk, return to it and try again
• Head to an alternate area (fast travel to another LZ, or sparrow to the lost sector) and return
These don't fix 100% of the time, but multiple attempts will yield success. I had to reload ~5 times to have the prompt return for interaction.
The team is investigating the issue. Once we have a fix planned, we'll let you know.

isent it embarassing enough for u now ? i mean, everytime we get a patch,update or whatever, something is broken .. i know how to fix this all.. stop wanking under the table, and use booth hands to do your jobs at bungie, why iam so rude ? because iam sick of bungies attitude against the player comunity. bungies standard is : we are listening to the community... now u get the lame bought community support award. and u arent even able to provide us a propper working game. 90% of us payed in advance, and u are not delivering.

How come this issue wasn’t fixed instantly?? This is a big bug and you guys are gonna take days to fix this?? That’s so pathetic!! You fix other non necessary things within an hour that don’t need to be fixed!!! Wtf is wrong with you devs!

Not hard

Finally got it to work, lost track how many times I did it but this is what worked for me: Close and reopen Destiny, Land at winding cove, sparrow to the gulch, Fast travel to gulch. If you end up in a quite lobby then there’s a good chance you will be able to activate it. Good luck and Godspeed

Delivering Lavender Ribbon treats to Saint 14 is a quest step for the holiday event. You can't do that if you can't interact with the obelisk in the EDZ. This feels familiar... Oh yeah, there was a quest step during the season of the Forge where we had to pull switches on the Leviathan in a particular order to access the underbelly and kill turrets. Those switches were bugged. It was an already known bug reported by players who had raided and needed to access the underbelly to use keys for the chests. So if it's an intermittent error and does not effect every player is that considered acceptable?

Lol I won't ever let them live that down! "Yeah, this quest is incompletable because it needs Vex kills in the Tangled Shore. We've known about this, probably for weeks, but we're just gonna go ahead and do nothing about it for two more weeks even though we could fix the issue immediately because it's an easy fix."

I tried that, didn't work. I even jumped to a different planet and back, tried THREE TIMES, didn't work... Oh, except one time I got the "Interact" prompt -- using it turned my entire screen BLACK (except inventory), had to jump to different planet to fix that one.... I'm on PS4. Supergood testing you have.
