EDZ Obelisk Not working
Cannot finish the quest to activate it, it won’t allow you to interact with it at all.
Edit: If you keep loading the spawn point eventually it’ll let you activate it, try that until Bungie resolves the issue.

236 답변A few workarounds: • Try fast-traveling to the same zone • Walk away from the Obelisk, return to it and try again • Head to an alternate area (fast travel to another LZ, or sparrow to the lost sector) and return These don't fix 100% of the time, but multiple attempts will yield success. I had to reload ~5 times to have the prompt return for interaction. The team is investigating the issue. Once we have a fix planned, we'll let you know.

Another reset and the EDZ obelisk still doesn’t work? How is this possible? All the others work just fine, has bungie seriously been unable to fix this bug? Come on guys, you’ve always been better than this. And don’t sell me about a work around just f***ing fix it

2 답변Still not working. I tried the whole fast travel thing, didn't work. Tried killing myself, didn't work. Tried logging out of game then back in, didn't work. Tried running around in zone killing stuff for a few minutes, didn't work. Seriosuly Bungie, you guys are pathetic. Fix your game. This issue should have been fixed within a few hours. Here we are a few days later and it's still broken. Jack asses!

19 답변It's a common mistake in games, guys. You're told to do a thing but you can't due to a loading issue, so you give it a quick reload and voila, you can do it now. Don't need to give them crap about it lol.

작성자: Pierrot Le Fou 12/24/2019 8:22:26 PMIf you're doing the quest to establish a link to this Obelisk from the Tower, abandon the quest then port back to the EDZ Obelisk to pick up a weapon frame (if you haven't already). Then go pick the Tower quest back up. This worked for me.

1 답변What works for me is to hold the interact button as you spawn and walk toward the obelisk. Stole fix from someone.

Can't be in the same instance as anyone else who hasn't unlocked the obelisk. Best bet if you are on PS4 is to manually set your clock back a few hours, wait a minute and load into the EDZ. You should be alone in and able to interact with the obelisk. Good job on that one bungie. Remember when you were considered a quality developer? Neither do we.....

Well im glad im not the only one, i thought I was going crazy. Ive tried for the past few days to get it connected and nothing has worked for me. I even loaded crucible for once and i dont like pvp at all. Internet shut off and back on pretty much everything but the soak it in rice method. Ill try again today but ill just wait for a patch if it doesn't work.(i hope they're on it)

Just because some of you are having these solutions dmg posted work the first time, doesnt mean thisbisnt a real problem. I activated, engaged with it the very first time and haven't been able to, even transmitting over and over, to other areas, and leaving and coming back. This obelisk is unusable for me.

This is a minor issue. Just fast load to another spot on edz and return. I did it once and it worked. Get the gun bounty and you never have to go back once you link with tower. Personally, i think Bungie does a good job and you are getting your season pass moneys worth.

1 답변It is really infuriating how inefficient Bungie is at their job. I can't interact with the Edz obelisk. How is this a thing in a released version of the award winning Destiny?' Bungie can not hit a deadline. And if they do, you can be sure it will be untested crap. So this season, we got Twitter instructions, locked mods, weapons? It's all feeling sloppy. Hotfixes away! Man, making games is hard. You guys must really be looking forward to your Winter's break. You know what's hard Bungie? -Admitting there's no such thing as a Winter break in the real world. -Self-admitting the quality of your (cough) [i]content[/i] is sub-par. I can not wait for you to get out of the business of developing. It's just too hard. Stick to video-documents (TM) .

5 답변I finally got it to work. I couldn't get it to work trying all suggested work around. The next day I went straight to Trostland then rode my sparrow to the obelisk and it worked. Anyone having problems, quit the game, start it back up and then first thing go to Trostland and don't fast travel. It worked for me, hopefully it will work for anyone else who runs into this problem.

U dont have to go to orbit

I guess that explains why I see a bunch of other guardians firing guns at this junk. I wouldn't mind blowing it up either.
