Weapon types like SMGs and shotgun needs to be close to melt. Unlike pre-nerfed Luna where it could destroy a person at any range(why it got nerfed). The recluse doesnt do that. Helpful tactic to beating it Loadouts with recluse consist of a sniper rifle or a shotgun. Regardless of what one your opponents is using, you have a major advantage with that.. mid range. Use that, when I was grinding my out. All I did was stay around the drop off of the recluse and it lead me to win a few 2v1s and 3v1s. Strong guns are one thing but a smart player will rely on tactics more then OP weapons. Yeah your right the OP lvl of these weapons but Mountaintop in pve is going to get a nerf because of the lun-boots and rally. Changing to faster reloads rather then bottomless clips. As for the recluse its is range drop off that only makes it useful for mobs and close boss dps(if they have adds to proc the perk). As for the matchmaking, that's going to get evened out with the solo comp elimination coming in October... bungie finally giving pvp a good work over. I get your frustration but many people accomplish the feats of getting these weapons. Trial and error will make you a stronger player.
