What's really pathetic to me is that nobody plays the game to enjoy it. Literally everyone wants to cheat and exploit their way in this imaginary race to be the first to max level or the first to having all the God rolls. But to what end? What will you do then? Hop in to crucible? But then you'll just cry when the meta switches and your current God roll becomes trash or get's changed by Bungie.
And for those of you that will come at me with "Bungie content isn't fun." My response: then why the hell are you still playing? Go play something that is fun.
And for those of you that use the excuse of "the time investment isn't worth 1 reward." I feel bad for you, this is a videogame. People with the mentality of the time investment isn't worth 1 rewards clearly are treating this game like a chore.
Yes, I know that this is a loot driven game. I get that. HOWEVER, if you are literally just going through the motions to go through the motions, then you're not playing the game anyways, and your input really shouldn't be reflected when changes are made.... wait a minute... maybe that's why Bungie ignores most of the player base............................
But that's just my opinion... which I'm entitled to..
But knowing this place, there will be half of a dozen people ready to insult me for having an opinion different than theirs and then list any stretch of "errors" in my opinion.

“Nobody plays this game for fun” Then you proceed to go on a bit of a childish rant calling everyone who likes to quickly level and power up in a LOOTER SHOOTER “playing the game wrong”. My god you’re daft maybe take your own advice instead of worrying about people having backlash to your extremely one sided opinion.

+1. I've been playing this game nearly 5 years, consistently (maybe a month break here and there). It's still fun as hell. And I'm a solo player. People need to figure out why they actually play this game. For me, personally, the ONLY chore in this game is making sure I hit all my powerful drops a week when I'm leveling up. Otherwise I do what I want, when I want, how I want. And I like it. Bring on Shadowkeep. 👍😬

Agreed! I can't stand the people saying, "None of the loot is even worth it if it's just going to be nerfed at some point." Why do you care? Using the same logic you shouldn't work for anything in life or even live life if it all goes away when you die. That's terrible logic and a morbid way if thinking. The reason you earn the weapons or armor is to play the game. Sure maybe it will be changed at some point, but you got to use it while it was still in it's previous state. The point of getting a weapon or armor is to use it and play. Not being guaranteed to be amazing all the time. It's just how anything works.

I think that’s just the nature of looter shooters like this. People play the game get the stuff - that’s the appeal. The story is still quite bland, everything is told via lore. Not that that’s a bad thing, but I’m guessing good number of people don’t take the time to read it all. At the end of the day, the point of the game is to get the loot.
