Someone had an audience with Mara in Queen's Court, and the presence of the Traveler's Chosen would've been disrespectful to them. All these things we've been gathering have been in preparation for somebody. Like chess pieces being in place for the final encounter with the Deep. Like a play being watched as Riven said. She has to walk this extremely thin line between Light and Dark, as to not anger her worm. (since she's trying to defy her worm) and she's trying not to destroy too much of the Light, because she needs it, needs us and could probably destroy us as it stands right now. I do not think we are going to fight Savathun or Quria at all. They are the Hourglass and the Forgotten Blade. Always at arm's length. Out of our reach. But that doesnt mean we won't learn about Eris and Quria's histories in Shadowkeep.
