I can handle bugs and glitches -- even though I suspect some of them are intended i.e. the anti-powerful drop 'glitch'. When I stated I don't think they even play their game, I am referencing how poorly the economy is laid out and the terrible flow of the game. I am not convinced Bungie has anyone sitting down and approaching the game from an actual gamers perspective. Sure, they try and make sure their systems work, but they don't test to see if their systems are meaningful or help/hurt the overall experience of the game. Division is a perfect example. Division has bugs in it, but I continue to play the game despite the bugs because everything I am doing in the game seems to have purpose, is thought out, and is overall fun and rewarding. I can't say the same about Destiny. It seems like a cluster -blam!- right now. The game has no flow. It's just a bunch of back and forth, 'go here then here then here' nonsense with no rewards at the end -- eh, maybe you'll get something if you're lucky. I have yet to log off of Division feeling like I wasted my time and wasn't rewarded. I log off from Destiny daily feeling the opposite. There is no way anyone at their studio is playing this as a hobby unless tediousness is their hobby. That person is having LOADS of fun right now.

It's 100% intended, they do lots of little stealth things that you'll only notice if you play a lot. Prime engrams, just before the last 2 dlcs prime engrams always hit your lowest item, always. But at the start of dlcs they hit your highest. Crucible, as soon as you do well your next lobby is always a laggy horrible mess where you struggle to damage players. They often implement fixes , but then next update either intended or not, seem to undo the previous fix. Exotic duplicates for example, making it favour stuff you don't have, and heavily favour armour over guns so at least you have a chance at a different roll. Worked for a while, then they give xur forsaken exotics, since then I've had 13 exotics, all guns, all duplicates, and I still have 0 warlock or hunter forsaken exotics and I'm missing 2 titan ones.

  • I play a lot, more than people should play and I’m telling you you are not right. I’m sorry but it’s true there is no lag in crucible and the loot stuff is just rng.

And saying it's RNG, doesn't cut it either. RNG is weighted, and every character has a loot seed, it'll hold items back from you to keep you playing, the more you play the more punishing it is. It's in ALL loot games, the more you play the less your chance at the better gear, so you keep playing. Play a little, say every Friday, you'll get decent loot to entice you to play more. I've levelled over 90 characters to max level during D2, and over 200 in D1 and there's ALWAYS a certain slot that won't drop all the way through levelling, or rather itvdeags behind, usually it's a power weapon but it varies character to character but more often it's power. RNG btw works like this, each reward and slot is given a number or numbers, between say 0-1000. Each loot drop the game gives you selects a number, that's your loot. Now if certain items don't have a number, they can't drop, if some items have 50 numbers it's a high chance it'll drop. It's not simple luck. Saying the shattered ship can drop anywhere in the dreaming city is true, but if it's odds are 1 in 1000 it's super unlikely, that's not bad RNG it's a bad system.

You have one character and it’s not even close to max. I have leveled three characters this season and have not encountered this problem. I have 4.5k hours in all of destiny and destiny and have not seen this problem. I don’t know what to say except you are not right.

I have one character THAT I CREATED 3 days ago and it's already 665 from a total fresh start. I deleted 3 690s last week. I deleted 3 650s a month ago. I put 13'000 hours into D1 and around 3000 into D2. I play 12 hours a day, I'm disabled, retired, and breed dogs so I'm always home. To think there's people out there who actually believe there's no lag in crucible, on a P2P framework, with non regional mm, in 2019, blows my mind. Type crucible lag into YouTube and see the thousands of videos, search any forum and you'll see crucible sucks, fix mm, get dedicated servers posts EVERYWHERE. Im gonna mute you because you're either a troll, or just numb, and I CBA with imbeciles. Enjoy life in your protective bubble.

There is no lag in crucible? Lololololololol. Now I know you're messing. A typical lobby for me involves Kuwait, Russia, Poland, Mozambique, USA, and Iran. There's no region lock, it's impossible not to have lag. I use Netduma and some people have pings over 900.

  • Are you talking Division 1 or 2? Once your at the endgame of any looter it a bunch of repetitive tasks to gain power or loot. When you first played the campaign in D2 and Forsaken there was plenty of flow and you were constantly getting upgrades. The Division 2 looks really great and involved thus far. Almost good enough to erase my disgust with the first one but it's far to early to get into the endgame loop discussion.

  • Division 2. Division 1 was a mess, though I still played it all the way through. And to Massive's credit, they stuck with it, fixed it, and then built upon it for Division 2 -- something Bungie desperately needed to do when they were initially making Destiny 2. My issue is not with repetitive tasks. My issue is with, for example, having to fly back and forth to Ada multiple times when doing forge frames for no reason. That is the kind of tediousness that breaks the flow of a task and makes me think Bungie just wants me in loading screens to keep me online longer thus artificially drawing out play time.

  • This is a good argument and the forges are a great example probably the best example. The "quest" to open the forges didn't ever explain why we had to do all the grind, a little dialog would have went a long way. As far as the trips, I've transmatted a giant crystal to Holiday a thousand times and I can't call in for some bounties, I can't transmat frames and engrams....it's a little rediculous.
