Forgive me being slightly snarky but if that's the case how come theres so many issues?
People still seeing festival of the lost and crimson days
Constant lost sector discovered and new adventure available when in the tower
Loading in on console taking longer now than it did prior to fix, and have you tried hot swapping a weapon during combat?
Disconnects in the tower almost every session
Constant duplicate items this is almost guaranteed if you hand in multiple tokens and open the engrams one after the other
The issues with matchmaking, the reckoning specifically
Getting stuck in the forge queue and frantically hitting b to back out so you don't mess up the next session for people
Tool tips that are wrong
I see lots of threads about these things but not a lot of responses from Bungie
But you do dip into threads about master work cores and can thorn get a buff
Can we have a known issue thread please so we can add to it and see what's what.
Thank you

1 답변Lost sector discovered while in the tower is not a bug, you get it when you dismantle something and get a scrapper bounty and you have to loot a lost sector. When you tab out it lets you know since you most likely did not check your inventory and bounty.

We also post an update from the Player Support Team each week in the TWAB that tracks known issues and provides info on upcoming fixes. We do playtest but that doesn't mean there will be no bugs in the game. We also do our best to prioritize fixes. Things like Director Challenge rewards dropping at a lower power outweigh incorrect tooltips and Shaxx still wanting Crimson Days to be a thing. That why we put out the hotfix this week to correct the issue with Director rewards. But we will continue to track the minor, but still annoying bugs like sometimes not being able to back out of matchmaking or discovering Lost Sectors in the Tower. Thanks!

6 답변I do think it's hilarious that they locked the thread, but it's still there and is continuing to be upvoted. I realize that them "not testing anything" is an exaggeration, but the impression that they don't is not entirely undeserved.

1 답변Friendly reminder that the scatter grenade still bounces when it shouldn't after 5 years...

3 답변
Loading in on console taking longer than before Patch

Disconnects in the Tower almost every time
What console do you play on, a brick? I’m on just an original Xbox One and since the Load time Update things have been miles better, virtually no load screens at all and no Tower disconnects. If your game still runs like shit, you either need to clear up space, or just need a new console.

1 답변작성자: GalaxySpider 3/20/2019 5:21:58 PM"So many". What I see here is relatively normal, especially when big updates (the seasonal ones) add new stuff, to a game which has been online for quite a while. Play Fallout 76 or Atlas, and you know what an actual game with barely any testing looks like.

Truth be told, I suspect they do actually playtest vigorously, the issue being that the game is probably filled to the brim with spaghetti code. Granted, maybe not considering all their time with Halo, but I have my suspicions.
-
Have you see them play test PvP?? It’s painful to watch!! 90% of them are then dads of destiny trying to score an assist little alone a kill lol. Cosmo was spinning circles around them because he actively plays the game outside of work. The devs probably don’t (they really should be) so they can experience the changes they’ve made and realize they’re poor or positive decisions impact the game they’re creating.
-
I think the biggest issue is how they nothing for months about issues the players mention. A example is the recent response on Masterwork cores. Far too late of a response. All they had to do is say something like "Team is flat out working on x,y,z until approximately this time, with this in mind we probably won't tackle issue A,B,C (Masterwork core infusion) until around this time" It isn't difficult at all. It is ok to say we don't have the resources to solve the problem now. But we have heard you. It just keeps making the community more frustrated when you ignore us. Terrible community engagement and management.

I’ll fully admit that game have gotten far more complex than they were 20 years ago. Having said that, there’s something to be said for developers that couldn’t update their games on the fly and were stuck with the game that shipped. The QA was far more rigorous and the player usually benefitted from that scrutiny and pressure. Obviously it wasn’t always the case, but usually an opinion of a game could be based on gameplay itself and not all the shit bugs that ruin an otherwise amazing game.

5 답변How would them play testing catch and fix every issue. There is no way that they are going to catch every bug that someone could possible encounter. There are just too many variables for that to happen.
Playtests occur daily, and many play at home in the evenings as a hobby.
No they don't. I guarantee you they don't even touch the game when they come home from work. If they do, then they are so bad at their jobs that they should be terminated immediately, or so out of touch with the community that they are willfully ignoring the feedback they've been given. But they do not touch the game outside of work, at all.

1 답변Also, if so, why are so many bungie employees really bad at the game? Every time they demo something its cringeworthy.

I like what you said and how you said it... respectfully. The issues we experience daily... that will never be addressed makes a Guardian world weary after a couple of years. Factor masterwork cores in an you have all the excuses you need to not log in.

10 답변They playtest, but they don't play the game as it is intended for us to play it. There is a difference. When you playtest you have a list of tasks to perform ... since it's a job you know, you don't just play the game. What the mod says is true. They do playtest - you don't get stuck anywhere, you cant dupe or exploit, you don't have invisible walls in awkward places, all icons and actions are accurate and so on. The fact that the game is dull and has many bad aspects is not the lack of playtest it's the lack of playing the actual game. They don't play as we do and thus they don't see the problem. I can give you an example of Massive palying their game. There was an outrage in the community since you get very little Titanium (a resource that you need to craft) and then a developer answered that Titanium is very easy obtained in DZ 1 and 2 while clearing landmarks - the resource was intended to make people go in those Dark Zones to increase the density, but not to be unfair - you don't lose the resource upon death. A great explanation - I went to DZ1, cleared few landmarks and was swimming in Titanium. The resources in The Division 2 are spread in the world and in certain missions that have a chance to give out more so that everything have a purpose - you want certain resources - you go and farm it. Not like in Destiny 2 - you need enchancement chores? Tough luck buddy - you get one and thats it, now wait for reset to get another one or spend another resource that you need to buy it ... The economy in Destiny 2 is so badly done, when you compare it with other games ... it's obvious the devs dont play the game, I am suspicious if they even like the game at all ...

작성자: MissFoxyRubyRouge 3/20/2019 10:17:01 PMI agree reckoning is a joke and the prime weapons drop rate is a joke if they playtest they must playtest to make playing destiny the most unenjoyble experience more each annual dlc than the last.

1 답변Snarky yes but not calling them names not swearing at them not doing really anything besides stating and opinion about your experience with said issuers and why haven't "minor" things like those been fixed? Only changes that happen are thread or YouTube problems. You had the right to say you don't feel they play test due to those small problems. Then they got offend? And locked the post? Seems either petty or guiltily someone called them out on not play testing like they should. If it's not has bad as you stated but still happening

You can't expect there to be NO issues with the game. I mean, with all the lines of code you'd have to write for something as simple as making a shader work on different weapons, it's no surprise the game's littered with minor/major bugs. For every one thing Bungie corrects, another 2-3 things may go a little wonky, and that's just how things work. As long as the game's not a broken, in shambles mess, I don't think there's cause for accusing bungie of not playtesting. You could playtest something for hours on end and see nothing, but when you put it to the live servers, like 5 bugs and glitches related to the fix will pop up the next week.

30 답변what i want to know is why arent good players doing the play testing, because if good players were actually doing play testing i feel like supers would of been tuned down by now, supers are the main thing screwing up pvp right now at least in comp, you play one normal round and then that person with 5 supers monds gets his spec blade and it just turnes into a game that does not feel skillfull, BUNGIE MY MAIN POST TO YOU IS PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY TEST A GAME PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS ACTUAL GOOD PLAYERS PLAY TESTING THE GAME,

11 답변I can handle bugs and glitches -- even though I suspect some of them are intended i.e. the anti-powerful drop 'glitch'. When I stated I don't think they even play their game, I am referencing how poorly the economy is laid out and the terrible flow of the game. I am not convinced Bungie has anyone sitting down and approaching the game from an actual gamers perspective. Sure, they try and make sure their systems work, but they don't test to see if their systems are meaningful or help/hurt the overall experience of the game. Division is a perfect example. Division has bugs in it, but I continue to play the game despite the bugs because everything I am doing in the game seems to have purpose, is thought out, and is overall fun and rewarding. I can't say the same about Destiny. It seems like a cluster -blam!- right now. The game has no flow. It's just a bunch of back and forth, 'go here then here then here' nonsense with no rewards at the end -- eh, maybe you'll get something if you're lucky. I have yet to log off of Division feeling like I wasted my time and wasn't rewarded. I log off from Destiny daily feeling the opposite. There is no way anyone at their studio is playing this as a hobby unless tediousness is their hobby. That person is having LOADS of fun right now.
