God so many mentions of Anthem. Look, move to Anthem if you want but I haven’t heard many good reviews so I’m thinking it’s probably best to hold fire for now. There seems to be a sudden influx of game developers releasing games before their ready... and that’s not on. They are so consumed by the need to make an instant profit that they lose sight of what’s important, like the game running smoothly for instance!? From what I’ve been told, Anthem, much like Battlefield V, seems to be unfinished and a pool of issues at the moment. As gamers we’ve gotta start holding back before we spend our money on titles that are unfinished, otherwise, flakey games will continue to be released without adequate servers or tried and tested basic mechanics that make gameplay enjoyable. I’m still annoyed with DICE for releasing BFV in such a terrible state after I rushed out to spend hard earned cash on it, that I’ve not been on it again since it’s day of release. I’m not making that mistake again. Games should be ready upon release.... that’s what we pay for. Anthem it seems, is also unfinished (ok nowhere the state of BFV but, unfinished all the same) so I’d wait until they iron out those issues before you make a purchase but hey, that’s obviously your call. Personally, I enjoy Destiny so won’t be abandoning it for an unfinished title with a heap of issues anytime soon. If you fancy a change for a bit try out Metro Exodus or Apex Legends, at least their at a better point of development.
