Thank you for you message, which makes its point.. But allow me to consider it a bit further then...:
OK, no other game studio would have enough disrespect for their customer to dare doing that: others do actually pay (yeah, with money) a selected team of players to go through those bugs before it is made public.
Also, I cannot wait for this approach to be broaden to some other industries, let's say Boeing for exemple:
"Dear customer, we have a new plane we draw last week, we put it into active service from now. Please, buy some tickets for our trials to go on and be reassured that no more than 70% of the planes land crash" 🤣
Joke aside, well I made extensive points within several sub-discussions below (like really long and detailed), so I won't do it again here, but roughly: Bungie is not a startup, they don't lack experience, Forsaken has not fallen over their head by surprise a month ago... And none of this is for free, is it? So customer service applies here. Besides, there are other awesome games as well, so that I came here to request if someone knew how to cancel a preorder and get a refund for that matter.

Your analogy doesn’t equate, because no one’s lives are in danger by launching with a few bugs. It’s much closer to a restaurant opening, and the worst case scenario is that a few wrinkles need ironed out, and a few people are slightly inconvenienced during the trial period, but no one is being charged for it, so it’s not that big of a deal.

(as for the plane, it was more of a joke than a direct comparison... hence the "joke aside" below it). So let's go to your restaurant: I'm sorry but here it would be more like you can't eat, you can't drink, you can't use the loo, your jacket has been dropped on the floor and walked allover, your friend has been punched in the face and, only after you have have been checked in and sat, you are made aware of all the problems and informed that you will stick with them for 1 week because they were too greedy (or incompetent) to run a benchmark before forcing you in... If I may :D
