Not gonna watch this one but it's obvious to me why MS took the massive L.
-Xbone E3 reveal was an utter shit show
-Forced kinect
-Trying to be a media hub
-The president at the time is not the god known as Phil Spencer. Former president basically didn't know gamers.
-DRM
Some of these aren't issues, but people love to overreact (all imo of course, so chill).
Still more of an Xbox>PlayStation guy cause i enjoy the Xbox IPs more, along with the controller and the better online. But holy fvck did MS screw up.

The 3 that they have silly. Ebd of the day I'm still gonna be play Halo, Gears, Forza longer than I'm gonna be playing the PS4 IPs i don't care about. Of the PS exclusives last year, the only one i gave a shit about was Persona 5. Year before that it was Ratchet and Clank. Before that it was Bloodbourne. Every other PS exclusive doesn't interest me.

I'm mostly an online gamer too. Sony for me just doesn't have any games with real lasting power. Once i finish their games once i generally won't ever play through them again. With Xbox i always have good online play to come back to, and their games usually have quite a bit to offer. So it's kinda "more bang for your buck" to me. Not saying Sony is bad, since I've owned all of their consoles. My appeal to them is just slowly fading.

I understand that. I always value a single player experience more than a multiplayer one. Because there's never anything stopping you from a single player game like bad servers, dead playerbase, invasive microtransactions(most of the time, we're starting to cross that line). Or just poor internet on your own end..

I really reccomend it. We had a convo about this recently. You called it a glorified Ubisoft game. That's not completely wrong. But it still undersells it. It stands out as a great game because it does a lot of the Ubisoft open world activities but all of them better than Ubisoft. For example the Ubisoft towers. They're a lot more engaging when the tower is a giant robot dinosaur that is moving while you climb it and have to find a good vantage point to board it. Also it has some things going exclusively for itself. Like the story. It's one of the greatest pieces of science fiction in gaming. Without spoiling, the world is absolutely not what it seems and the past reveals about what happened blew my mind. Really good spin on this overdone ancient times type setting. And a sense of mystery up there with the first Mass Effect. Combat also stands out very well. Unlike most games of it's genre the game focuses on ranged attacks. Between your sling, arrows and tripcaster then later ropecaster and all the elements there's a lot to think about. And if you so choose you can really prepare for a fight with traps everywhere. And the later high level boss robot enemies feel like a Zelda boss scale of epic. Like Twilight Princess levels. I really love it. And I would say wait for a sale, but if I'm not mistaken I believe you can even find the game for $20 pretty easy. I did anyway.
