I like it, I like being able to have a pulse and a scout, or a handcannon and a pulse, having the ability to bridge the gap between long range and short range a lot smoother than you can in Destiny 1.
But I do agree with the change screwing PvE quite a lot. And it being an obvious change to help balance PvP.
If they make Power ammo drops fairly frequent, then I can see the issue being somewhat resolved.
But even that won't fix it entirely.
Snipers I can see in the Power slot if they hit a lot harder than what they do now, same with Grenade launchers and rockets.
But Shotguns and Fusions just don't fit there, in PvP sure, but not in PvE.

Oh I know, it's just dependant on how frequent the ammo drops will become. Little ammo, warrants more powerful weapons to make up for it. More ammo, means it won't have to be as powerful. Honestly, I wouldn't mind either weapon system being used. I just hope the ammo count, and recharge rate of our abilities aren't made worse.

작성자: Pave0581 7/22/2017 4:13:30 PMThe fact that, that even needs to be done is just bad though. Why should the player be forced to reload into the strike for ammo? Why should the player be forced into a loop hole, to actually make progress? The ammo drop all-round in the Strike is bad. They've even said that the ammo drops will be increased and certain enemies are guaranteed to be dropping heavy ammo. It's just by how much is the question. If ammo is scarce, the weapons should be made to do more damage. If not, then there's no need for it.

I usually get 4-5 power ammo blocks in the strike. I dont know why everyone thinks that is low. I mostly save the power ammo for the last boss because everything else dies easily to melee and the primaries. So my power ammo is mostly full at the end of the strike.

I've gone the entire strike without seeing Power ammo drop once. I've had some runs where it dropped 2-3 blocks, giving me just enough ammo to have the max amount. It's not enough, and it's not doing the Power weapon system justice, if you can barely use the gun since the ammo is not there. If they want to put Snipers, Fusions and Shotguns into the same slot as Rockets and Grenade launchers, they need to be worthwhile, but with the ammo count as it is, they just aren't.

You seem to be forgetting that there is a 99% chance we will get ammo synths as well as guarenteed ammo drops. I have had power ammo drop 100% of the times i have done the strike from the first group of enemies you kill btw.
