Thank you for the thoughtful reply.
I did not make that video! I found it on destinydb. All credit to TripleWreck.
That being said, in any FPS (let alone one based off a space age resurrected super human) the justification for ANY change or non-change should NEVER start with "well, in real life..."

All changes or non changes should be for internal consistency and balance.

I have zero problem with increasing inaccuracy as you rapid fire. That feature forces you to pace your shots and prioritize accuracy over rate of fire.
It keeps an internal balance and consistency by not allowing the highest damage per shot archetype to be used (effectively) as a bullet hose.
That is the correct use and justification for a change.
What I'm most concerned with was the first 30 seconds of the video. 2 stationary targets not being able to produce repeatable hits from a medium distance. The bullet did not land where it said it was pointed - and they were stationary targets! I understand the intent of ghost bullets (to keep hand canons from usurping scout rifles).
But scouts and handcannons should be kept separate based on the damage done at range, and the sustainable rate of fire, not the ability to consistently hit a medium range target.
