Have you seen how some people worship you-tubers? The sports/ e-gaming audience is a lot more similar than you think. Also, it doesn't affect your daily life does it? No? Then there is no reason to call some people pathetic. They do it cause it like it. Just like how you sit down and move your thumbs.

People don't riot in the streets when a YouTuber gets 1,000 subs. Oh and an angry sports fan can easily make it someone else's problem. They do it all the time. But we are getting off subject. Being talented at a hobby/pastime like sports shouldn't just automatically categorize someone as a superior human being.
