it's not that I am afraid of being racist but I find that selective breeding brings up some moral issues. If we create a culture like this what is to stop things from becoming like brave new world in which some people are intentionally given bad traits/ held back at birth to keep them down while others are given good traits so that they are superior to those below them. (additionally each "caste" is taught to hate the other "castes' through conditioning) What would stop that kind of discrimination? also what would happen to people with serious diseases and disabilities who are alive now? I also honestly think that breeding out all imperfections would make us something else, we would no longer be human in a sense as Humans are supposed to be flawed our flaws are what make us strong.

Environment plays a huge role along with genetics. Simply having good genetics does not guarantee success. That, and much of the human body is a mystery to us.

There are millions of things people are good at in the world, and there are so many different talents that different people have that you would cut out a huge portion of culture through this. Going for intelligence? Oh, well now you don't have good athletes able to defend the country. Going for athletic people? Well now scientific advancement has stopped. Manage to get both of those? Well most likely the persons intelligence would be based on some test, so we would have a lot of scholars and not people as smart in many different areas like politics and economics. In order to get a productive society, we need diversity in skill traits.
