Work on the weapon perks. I have a hand cannon that shoot .50 caliber rounds. With 99 impact damage. I build this at the weapons bench. But keep going man.

Have you been collect all the junk? You can take back to your camp an break that stuff down for the parts you need. Also go to the weapons bench to remove parts off guns you want to use on others. That's how you get your weapons stronger too. But some body said it already, just do the mission along the way. You get better weapons and gear that way
